President Muhammadu Buhari has on Thursday, June 9, transmitted 47 Names to the Senate for consideration and approval as Ambassadors to different countries.

The letter which was read by the Senate President, Bukola Saraki during plenary on Thursday is coming after one year in office of the Buhari administration.

Some of the names of “the career diplomats” who will head Nigeria’s missions abroad when confirmed by the senate, they include:

Recall, that Buhari has been accused of giving the northerners more appointment than any other region in the country.

The last appointment that was carried out in the Ministry of Information and Culture, saw the north clinching virtually all the position.

Many political analysts have branded Buhari as the king of the north.
