Must Lagos always take the lead on everything?

Hmm. Task force or no task force is Better to give Ceasar what belongs to Ceasar. Is to better to have peace of mind and Good health. What if the Omo onile uses Black charms. Will d law notice?

Long overdue.
I hope this will also take care of those guys that extort money from motorists for passing certain roads, or for dropping passengers at certain bus-stops.

Their activities have become very annoying. How can u tell someone to pay money before he should lay foundation on a land he legally bought, and to even pay again to the omoniles before he puts a roof over his building? So ridiculously annoying.

The most annoying thing is when they come and destroy properties as if built on their lands.

Hmm, if only this can be achieved.
For Governor Ambode to succeed in this drive, he has to start with the Police in Lagos state.

The Omo Oniles enjoy the backing and support of the Police to carry out their nefarious activity.

They intimidate and harrass land owners and builders because they know that the Police is also part of the game.

The land owners and builders are therefore helpless as there's no where to run to and nobody to report to.

They are really wicked. My father's experience with omo-nile and the only land he bought in lagos was sad. He bought a land and built mind you he settled them for the land and all they were calling too. He decided to go for another land down the street since the price was ok then resell when the area develops(normal plan). These omo-niles came knocking almost immediately requesting for a huge sum of amount for the newly purchased land. My father was surprised like wow! Again?? He already paid a lot to them for the one he is living in at the moment why pay again for another land he bought steps away on the same street? He and my mother did everything to persuade them and be on their side. One of them would even frequently come to the house and my mother would give him the best hospitality she could provide. They tried everything to calm them down with price even decided paying about about 30% of the price they called because he wasn't really financially stable after building. These guys still collected the money and gave a deadline on when to pay the balance which was about 2months. The deadline reached at the worst time, our "School Fees" had to be paid for my siblings and I in university and other responsibilities that kicked. Next, they snatched the property away from him like it belonged to them. Father had to back out because of safety and security reasons for the family. They never refunded the part payment. The price of land has now escalated in the area and well developed. The land is still there empty and it's hot cake as many people have come making offers 5 times the original price.

Big KUDOS To Ambode!!

I wonder if we could still get the land back

In other news, do you need a natural permanent hair removal solution? Have you heard about thanaka powder and kusumba oil? Google and read more about both of them and send an email to kinibd@yahoo.com if interested in purchasing. Thanks.

Re: Lagos Tackles Omo-onile With Task Force by lawyer(m): 12:51pm On Jun 28, 2016
Stopping Omoniles can never work in Lagos. There is an Unholy alliance between Tinubu and these bastards. Omonile goes beyond urchins and thugs. You are dealing with traditional rulers, obas, baales, police and Lagos state land officials who benefit from these crisis as their daily bread and butter in exchange for votes and stability in Lagos. This is not the first time they have set up a task force or passed a law to deal with omoniles. From Badagry to Epe they all do the same thing. Who do you think empowered them to to collect Foundation fees, Roofing fees etc from unsuspecting owners of land? Who do you think colludes with them to trespass on lands claiming various family names to get money from ratification? Who do you think deliberately refuses to issue C of Os or Gazettes to communities to cause confusion. This is just a red herring. Omonile issues are bigger than the Lagos state government. This is a matter the federal government has to step in and treat like Boko Haram or Militants before we get any headway. Omoniles are Terrorists of the South West that kill people economically.
