I works there as a site engineer, level of poverty so much that just roasted plantain and chicken can get their girls to bed. Mostly politically motivated. Cultism isn't high in its institutions as compared to say Rivers or even Cross River. Ditto for kidnapping, politics is behind the majority; which is unfortunate.



I don't know about Eket or Ikot Ekpene, however, lands in Uyo depends on location and how deep your pocket is. Land(s) in the city center shouldn't go beyond 10 million (I'm poor at land measurement). Where you can get land between 2-7 million will be in the outskirts (about an hour from Plaza), places like Etoi which has under it Ifa Atai, Ifa Ikot Akpan, Mbak Etoi and a host of "Ifas" and "Etois".
Wherever you want to buy, ensure you see the clan heads to ascertain rightful owners. Akwa Ibomites are Nigerians, anything can happen.
