More details shortly.

"The bridge is a toll bridge and its use is restricted to private and commercial vehicles with a total seating capacity not exceeding 26. The toll gate is located at the Lekki end of the bridge. Tolling has been controversial with some Lagosians believing that since the bridge was built with public funds, it use should be available at no cost".

Categories of tolling The categories are: Class 1: Saloon cars; N250, Class 11: Mini-vans, SUVs and light pick-up trucks; N300, Class 111: Non-commercial buses with maximum seating capacity of 26 person and Class 1V: Motorcycles with 200CC capacity and above; N100.

Part of the unpopular policy of ACN turned APC.

Same applies to the attached, where a facility was provided with 'Tax Payer's' money, and same is being tolled under a fraudulent BUY-BACK. Olohun'lugo, o un wo isee awon eda, adari'hurun. undecided

This is what's so special about this bridge?

This bridge is a golden landmark for Lagosians, it's a wonderful backdrop and landscape where Lagosians go to celebrate wonderful memories and document their love and affection...

It's a source of pride and love for the state they call home.

This man changed and propelled Lagos into the modern world for good.

All made possible by one man, his name is Babatunde Raji Fashola, the former Governor of the Great State Of Lagos..

This man changed and propelled Lagos into the modern world for good.

So, your PDP uncles and GEJ stole $20 billions power funds and still left the whole of Nigeria in darkness 16 years later because the Lagos state that wasn't and is still not responsible for power generation and transmission into private homes didn't break the law that forbid them from doing so grin grin grin

Most of this investment are done with private investors and therefore return on investment is needed.
The new bridge that will link Ikorodu with V/I has more 20 private partners. If this is completed we say it public funds.
The duty of the Govt is to ensure that we are not exploited when paying back. cry

And you are free to also show us a maternity center in your entire region that can match LASUTH

I hope Laspark is still active?

There is a difference i have observed between Fashola's road constructions and that of Ambode.

During the era of Fashola, roads were being constructed alongside trees being planted on the side. They always left spaces for flowers to be planted. But most of Ambode's roads I have seen though of very good quality still lacks this important beautification Fash was known for that we has then nicknamed Flower planter.

Some of the parks in the pics posted by aresa do not look same if you visit those places as at today due to lack of maintenance.

I just hope Ambode doesnt forget this. Greenery is what sets Lagos road construction apart from others.
