Follow the reports, Yes Arase formally documented his hand over, Idris didn't read it obviously

Records of the reports were available with the right department as contained in the report, Idris didn't investigate, he wanted to catch his own "thief"

It still goes back to the Nigerian way of doing things. Incompetence. Which is why i detailed those questions. If you look at my fourth point, it clearly states that.

This is pure lies, the story is a fabricated one. We are not Children to believe this rubbish. Are they telling us that the man did not read the handover note before escalating. If not the alarm he raised, those vehicles would have gone.
to those that don't follow reports abeg who is standing in front of the said bmw. point to note is that bmw are official cars strictly for service chiefs. Let Idris stop looking for wats not lost.

What is your reason for not wanting his appointment?
Retirement of the senior officers was not in order. they were not supposed to have been retired compulsorily. Their retirement should be on personal choice. secondly, running to the media to inform Arese to provide the missing cars without any investigation. he should have asked Arese about the cars before going to the media.

For those of you that do not understand Nigerian leaders' mentality, here are some facts for you:

1. It is a standard home-made (F00lish) protocol for Nigerian leaders to leave office with cars, furniture and even houses when they are being replaced (Sunday Ehindero did exactly the same about 1o years ago when he was leaving), Mike Mbama Okiro, Ogbonna Okechukwu Onovo, Hafiz Ringim, Mohammed Dikko Abubakar, Suleiman Abba...they all left office with properties that belong to the Federal Republic of Nigeria...It is simply a common practice.

2. I'm 100% sure that the missing vehicles were not under any repair, they were at Solomon Arase's house...But now that the shiit has hit the fan, all the vehicles are now being transferred to a mechanic shop for a cover up.

3. Do not blame Ibrahim Idris Kpotum for anything, the man did his home work well well and knew exactly what happened to the missing vehicles before he blew the whistle....

4. Let us thank God that Buhari is in charge, if this had taken place when Jonathan was in charge, trust me, the missing vehicle would have been missing for ever; that was just a normal thing during those old days

5. Business as usual is no longer allowed in Nigeria...

Commissioners, senators, governors etc never leave office without taking government properties along with them. Let us hope that Ibrahim Idris Kpotum's action will put an end to these despicable actions of our leaders (pigs) from top to the bottom.

Na wah for the workshop which delivers cars Sunday afternoon. Habaa!!!

Some of us work everyday Sundays inclusive. Send Tony Elumelu or Dangote an office note on Sunday and hear them ask you to wait till Monday day. Even my ultimate garage Gazzuz can deliver on Sunday if you justify the need.

Ever wondered what stands the rich apart from the poor?
Re: Missing Police Vehicles Found; IGP Staff Cars Under Repair; One Returned by Seawhy(m): 6:23am On Jul 19, 2016
The truth remains that the alleged missing 24 police cars would have been part of the former IGP handover. As far as they we're not part of the handover to the new IGP, then the new IGP is correct by saying that they were missing. Yes, 24 cars worth millions of naira should not be swept under the carpet in a handing over process.

Did Arase indicated the where about of the CARS in his handing over note? The handing over note shld carry the details of both Asset and Liability. If not for this Alart, the CARS will just enter voice mail. But for the fear of new Sharrif in town where stealing is now corruption, the cars are back with immidiate alargrity. Thank you PMB and Magu.

Whether Arase intentionally hid the cars or not Idris should have contacted him and if he denies knowing its whereabout he could proceed to the media court. Now intended or not he had no ground against Arase. I pray he applies more caution in handling government isssues in the future for our safety

Your thought process is flawed. Here are the questions you should be asking;

1. Did they not do a proper hand over?

2. Didn't they do an inventory of all assets?

3. What else is missing that we don't know about?

4. What system do they use to track their fleet in the first place?

5. What is wrong with Nigerians?

Yep. That sounds about right.
Mr perfect thought process, guess u didn't read former IG's response where he said all information are contained in his handover note

You see why Nigerians are in deep problems. Even a whole IG cant do a comprehensive investigation to ascertain whereabout of their properties instead he jumped into a stupid decision. This is the reason why Police just keep arresting and killing innocent citizens. They take every thing to personal and sentimental. What happened to being professional?

Clueless and Childish Idris. That method was a cheap one

Lies! Lies!! Lies!!!. I still believe the story that Arase took away 24 police vehicles was true. Definitely, the current IGP would have done its investigation before issuing a pubic statement. Perhaps, the IGP had been pushed to the wall. This is a cover up story.
