No one is hoping i guess but signs are there to suggest that it is inevitable to occur soon someday. I know where you are coming from, Those who have experienced war don't wish for it again the second time i fully agree with that.

The so-called developing world acts like a ghetto or shantytown to the developed world. In order words, the developed world is the gleaming city of a country called Earth and the developing world its ghetto and shantytown. It is in this context one should view the rise and potency of Islamic fundamentalism.  It is an agitation from the ghetto/shanty town of the country called earth. The other narrative involves the environment, energy and so on.

Do those useless people in Government understand what you just said above? I was laughing when Yar-Adua was claiming Nigeria was a neutral country when Isreal was recently fighting Hamas in Gaza. Either we like it or not we will participate one way or the other. It will start first with the contribution of our resources (Crude Oil ) to this war. Are we big enough to sell to any country we want or russia, china, EU And USA will try to secure an exclusive access to that supply?

We should not forget the morons up north who will want to start a religious war in solidarity to their brothers in the middle east. Likely also some sections of the country will just want to use that opportunity to breakaway from that contraception called Nigeria.

with the way things are going "Nigeria". If the govt cannot arrest the situation in ND the west might have to interceed, to protect their own interest i might add. Then Mend boys will ask for help from another country which hates the west and we will begin to see the domino effect.
