Bekwarra:While majority young people spend resources to install Buhari, APC and Buhari took what belongs to the "youths" to give to their own kind of yoot. APC NYL is 45, Youth Minister is 52, but youth age in Nigeria is 18-35. Doesn't that give you a cause of concern? |

This is the first time I'd be agreeing with TonyeBarcanista. The Nigeria Youths needs to be carried along in our political system irrespective of the Political Party. I'm not a PDP Sympathiser but I agree with you! |

kunle75: Youth movement can start from any party Man. Remember Nigeria is a Multiparty country. Though some people are trying to make it one party State which can never happen. So wherever You are as a Youth why NOT JOIN THIS CHARIOT. The #YouthVoiceMustBeHeard 1 Like |

I read it all. How many million do those nomination forms sell for? How can an "average " youth with no godfather affiliation get such sum? Is the party on the look for politicians or well accomplished and distinguished fellows. I think the PDP should give answers to these my few questions. Meanwhile I think I'll concentrate efforts on the need for making some persons answerable to the greater lot. How can you ask for men who have no honor and integrity for COMMITMENTS? Nice move Tonye. #youtharise |

The truth is that power is sweet.... the present youths campaigning for change will find it difficult to leave power for the youths of tomorrow. Do not be surprised if in 40yrs time, tonyebarcanista will want to be appointed as the minister of youths development. No hard feelings bro 1 Like |

@Hafin and Dcomrade, i think its better we think Nigeria and the youths first before segmented group or party affiliated group. Lets think of how we can rise up as youth together before branching to your corner of party. But still, nice piece i must confess. We need to liberate ourselves from these so called leaders that only care for their pocket and their close allies. Enough is enough 1 Like |

@OP Power is never given rather it's fought for. If any youth in this case in particular, or for instance any tribe by extension needs power, they should fight for it... don't forget fighting for power has nothing to do with spiritual or physical combat. We should always strives to live above sentiments at all times. In as much as I have no qualms seeing a youth ascending any top position either in a top rated political party or national politics; one question we should always ask is who will lead us better not from which age class, social class or tribe. I will never be a party to an idea to conscript someone into a race all because of sentiment. |

I really dont understand the way youths of this country reason. Pdp held sway for 16 years uninterrupted. APC till 2019 will be only 4 years. 16 -4 years, you can all see the gap? If really you folks want to change the status quo,you start from now to build a new party with a new name and new orientation. By the time its 2019, you will have a strong footing. How many times did this current APC change and rebrand themselves before they achieved success? Uncountable. Mr.Man, You are here vomitting pdp all over the place, a party that had access to over 500 TRILLION NAIRA unfettered for 16 years. You cant tell me narthing! Listen, We are not going back to egypt, either a new party or APC for 8 years. Then we can compare & contrast. Ndi ike ngwu(lazy people)! 1 Like |

pacino26:That is the point. Even if you mobilise millions to get forms, the party would still manipulate delegates to have their way. This is the problem of every strata of our political institutions |

Hope this article will return the natural senses in our Nigerian youths. We keep making these old men kings to the detriment of our political and economic advancement. Just for a promise of #5k monthly, most youth sold their mandate in 2015, not even that we have started getting the alerts now. I can say that we are the problem of our country |

Creating a position specially for the youth signifies that the youths are only tolerated in the political sphere, 19 positions for the elders and ancestors and 2 for the youth. We can't achieve a youth center political class if we keep allowing the elders choose what we are worth the so called elders are voted in by the youths, the question that begs answer is are the youths ready and prepared to take over? |

don4real18: One thing certain is that When there is a Defined structure in place and the Youth take their rightful place and stand. 40 Years times like you said Tonyebarcanista cannot even Dream it at all of been Minister of Youth. That is why the structure must be in place and #TheTimeIsNow |
