Two ministerial nominees at the Senate Screening on July 26th failed to recite the National anthem and pledge properly. The nominees, Ibrahim Isa from Niger state and Vivian Nwunaku Okeke from Anambra state mixed up the National Anthem and pledge when the chairman of the senate committee on Foreign Affairs, Monsurat Sunmonu asked them to recite it and a member of the committee, Senator James Manager, saved them from the embarrassing moment by correcting them immediately. A video showing what happened has finally been released. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5iCsiFSHoUc http://www.newshelm.com/2016/07/video-ambassadorial-nominees-failed-to.html cc lalasticlala 1 Like 1 Share |
