THE Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu Support Group, has described the statement credited to the wife of the President, Mrs. Aisha Buhari to the effect that women’s support for the APC governorship candidate, Mr. Godwin Obaseki in the forthcoming election in the state was not negotiable as laughable.

The group, in a statement in Benin, yesterday, by its leader, Mrs. Patricia Akande, said the statement is Mrs. Buhari’s personal opinion as Edo people have already made up their mind to vote out the APC during the election.

According to her, Obaseki was not the choice of Edo people because he was imposed by the APC leadership against the wish of Edo people and the APC.

Rather than the PDP telling the people what they intend to do when elected, they are busy capitalizing on the prevailing challenges facing the APC led Government.

I laugh at them because it has always been their way. At this point having pointed out the errors of the APC, they have failed to tell the people how they intend turning things around when elected. Godwin promised 200,000 Jobs, whether it will be fulfilled or not is a question. Till date the PDP have no manifesto or mater plan for EDO state, all they intend is to capitalize on the failure of the APC to get to power and embezzle and dish out free money to traditional rulers and so called Godfathers which is their tradition.

Oshiomole may not have performed up to their expectation but he has done exceedingly well than any other Govt in Edo State.

In simple terms PDP have no plan for the people of EDO all they want to do is to embezzle public funds and "Dasukilize" the treasury. Which I believe Edo people will reject, more so no state would want to be an opposition state.

Aisha thinks she is relevant in Edo State; Edo women are not like Northern women, they are independent minded and like pillars in the home, they run the family without waiting for their husband from their hardwork and they vote for candidates of their choice. There is no band wagon effect among Edo women and we respect them for that.
