If you're not a teacher, you may assume that those things are all lies. To be franked, it's really happening. Students do give weird answers

Lol.
The funny thing is that some of them will be like "pls i need more sheet" writing nonsense.
The answers are foolish creativity, it's more better than blank spaces on the answer sheet like some of you do here on NL. That shows how dullardish some of you are/were in school.

If we could apply the same creativity we display when writing exams in the real life, Nigeria would be better off. We always see the examiner as god that must be pleased by all means.

A lecturer asked an hypothetical question in the exam I wrote yesterday. He asked, "as an economic adviser, advice president Buhari on how to take Nigeria economy out of recession." I answered and felt like ending the solution with the below sentence with the thought that it will impress the Almighty lecturer.

"I am pleased to inform you that, Dr Adeyemi Dipeolu has just been recruited to advice president Buhari."

Funny Nigerian students.

I've come across similar pleas to numbers 2, 3, and 4 in the course of marking WAEC scripts sometimes ago. I lack the instinct to mark right what is wrong. No amount of plea or prayers I read by candidates can move me go against the professional ethics of teaching. Not even after reading meaningless answers from students/candidates alike.

I laughed so hard reading this probably because I have done something like that before.
It was during junior Neco business studies where we were supposed to translate shorthand to English. Everything was just like Arabic, so I just wrote down the lyrics of my favourite song "God would make a way where there seems to be no way" and I wrote at the bottom margin pleading with the examiner that we were not taught.
At the end of the day I had

A1 in business studies grin

Guy you're not alone! In my case I didn't beg for help but I made sure I wrote something for that shorthand section in JSSCE. I reasoned that the instruction was to "Attempt all sections", so I attempted them. And just like you, I got an A! cheesy cheesy
