Unknown to countless number of road users going about their daily business, ketu pedestrian bridge is gradually giving way and might lose its grip at any time. The railings used in holding the advertising boards and directional signs meant for drivers and other road users is completely rust, damaged, and can fall off anytime soon if it faces any form of pressure.

If care and urgent action is not taken, many lives may be lost to such disaster considering the number of road users who ply that route at different hours of the day.

www.metronaija.com is therefore calling on the Lagos state government and other agencies to please take urgent action so as to prevent a catastrophe from taking place.

Tell me what is not falling apart in Nigeria. You are mandating people to use bridges without checking the durability of the bridges. Only God will help us in this country where nothing is working except corruption and padding of budgets.

metronaija3, good thing you've brought this to the attention of the Public so that the govt would act promptly.

But it'll be better if you can also tweet at Ambode, FollowLasg and Lagos Monitoring Group on Twitter. They do see mentioned tweets and respond/ act on the complaints especially FollowLasg and Lagos Monitoring Group.

Eko o ni baje o!
