This monarchs should be arrested by security agencies for hiding a renowned criminal called tompolo and that minister for petroleum that initiated this silly dialogue with economy terrorists should be sacked. The FG shouldn't negotiate with any silly group. Give them fire and brimstone and watch how the avengers or whatever they call themselves fall on their knees.

Nonsense meeting:

1. We wish to state here that as a matter of urgency the Federal Government should appoint/constitute a Federal Government dialogue team

- Not possible for now. Only when Dangote refinery is up and running. Can we renegotiate the 13% derivation you earn?

2. Release the 10 innocent school children arrested by the Nigerian Army on the 28th of May, 2016 in Oporoza and others in detention on trumped up charges.

- They shall be charged to court by the AGF. When are you handing over the rest that vandalised the pipelines recently for prosecution? Where is Tompolo sef?

3. Return the Golden Sword, being the symbol of authority in the Gbaramatu traditional institution.

- This is not recognised by the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. What does the sword represent? What kingdom is Gbaramatu? Why does it deserve special status - when we have Lagos, Onitsha, Port Harcourt and Kano unrecognised?

4. Return the three traditional council speed boats in custody of the Nigerian Army;

- License has to be given by the Ministry of Transportation (Chibuike Amaechi to advice). What is the business of speed boats on inland waterways? Is it a fishing boat? Is for bunkering?

5. Cessation of hostilities perpetrated by the military in the Niger Delta region.

- Lt Gen Buratai to debrief in October 2016, after de-escalation of tension in the region post Independence day celebration. Not possible now.

6. The Federal Government should make a categorical statement about the opening of the Maritime University, Okerenkoko Delta State for academic activities in the 2016/2017 session.”

- Your son Chibuike Amaechi & Minister of Education to brief Cabinet at FEC in November after admissions into universities/montechnics for this session must have ended. Not possible for now.

Nonsense meeting and useless demands embarassed

Hopeless situation
You really need to grow up! The Niger Delta Redion is the Region feeding the country. You must handle the Region with care. If Oil is removed from Nigeria, all these taxes some States earn will vanish. Example is Lagos State. Without Oil, Lagos State would begin to sink. Think about it.

Imagine the condition given for peace to reign. These so called elders are very brutal and greedy, they did not even think about the aftermath of their action before pushing their criminals to bomb government facilities. And someone is telling me that coward Tompolo has nothing to do with the evils being perpetrated on daily basis. Now that everything is clear, I will enjoin the federal government to hold this slowpoke called traditional rulers responsible if any of such acts happen in the nearest future.
Which traditional rulers have you advised the government to hold responsible for Boko haram? Bornu elders came out boldly and said that GEJ was killing their children. Buhari said a similar thing when he said that fighting Boko Haram is killing the Northerners! Where are we now? Who is fooling who?

Federal govt should just find an amicable way in settling these.
You can't take what is theirs from them neither can you wipe them.

Really? undecided Stop, chill small and draw some breath, FG can't fight everyone from these communities & expect unfettered and lasting peace...

How do you hope to gather intelligence in an environment where you have no single ALLY?
Negotiate, negotiate, negotiate is what the FG have been doing since 1999. Now pray tell me, what has really changed? Did the so-called militants stop their militancy and terrorizing everyone? Like every other negotiation the FG had before, this one is likely to backfire in the nearest future. The FG should just deal with these economy terrorists once and for all, and this will be better for everyone.

Ok today the avengers say they want dialogue, peace and progress, FG bought into their shenanigan and negotiated with them{by paying them off as usual}. Tomorrow be rest assured that another spinster group will come up with its silly games and blackmail. Is the government supposed to be going round and round in circles?

Forget any ally talk. If the government wants to deal with saboteurs, believe me they don't really need any ally. Don't forget this militancy is an internal problem not external. Besides what's the number one work of all its{FG} security agencies? I'm really concerned about tomorrow you know.

What about displaced people of Bakassi? Anything for them to hold as a confidence building measure?
the condition is only for Gbaramatu kingdom, the condition is not for south-south or niger-delta

Arm-twisting. It then means that these so-called elders know who these militants are and they have done so very well in shielding them, which then further confirms my submission that the leader and elders in the Niger-Delta are part of the challenges the region faces.

You dey in front of keyboard dey run your mouth. All the Buratai and body odor don finish. See where it has led us to. I am yoruba but the more I see the signal the government keeps sending with these missteps in d region, the more i think we need to renegotiate. Buhari came for the oil. no plans for anything else. and he wants to maltreat the owners like there is nothing u can do about it. shame. keep saying nonsense. you and your fellow sycophants pushed him down this path.

With due Respect, I state here categorically that our Traditional Rulers did not represent our interest, all the conditions they gave Federal Government are not only what we want, I suggest They should go back and include that Federal Government should start the Development of all Niger Delta Region as former president, late Musa Yar'Adua wanted to develop the Region before his death ,Starting with these States: Delta, Bayelsa, IMO ,Abia ,Cross River Akwa Ibom and Rivers ,Edo and Ondo States should follow later. Since FG is making plan to reconstruct the North East let them start the Niger Development at same time since it is same oil money they want to use and develop the North East.let me stop here.

Do they know the custodian of the sword (Tompolo) is wanted by FG?

It's simple, produce Tompolo and the sword will be returned.
