This maybe an operating system or hard drive issues. Try testing that system with another working hard drive or reload your system with another OS.

Okay thanks, I feel it's operating systems though, as it passed the system hard disk test.

500gb hard drive currently goes for 15k on the average. if your laptop is the regular HP laptops such as 630, 635, HP Cq61, Cq60 and the rest, the keyboard be between 4-5k. if you are in Lagos, I have a 500gb hard drive for sale at 10k. if interested whatsapp me on 08164685979.

From my experience, ASUS laptops do not usually have hanging ptobkems. So I guest your operating system or hard drive is having issues. It may also be caused by a faulty RAM.

Test your system with another working hard drive or try reloading your hard hard drive with a new OS. Do this and let's see what happens.

If you are good in loosing a laptop computer, try bringing out the keyboard replacing it.
you can also try a system restore.

You may not need to. Just remove the keyboard, dust it and place it back, then test if it is working fine. Remember to remove the charger and battery before doing this.

Try the keyboard reset by pressing CTRL+ALT+ NUM keys . let me know if that helps

As for the freezing of your cursor, this can be due to a failing RAM or caused by tasks or processes especially disk defragmentation or PC maintainance that runs simultaneously in the background of your computer when you are using it.

As for the keyboard try using the keyboard reset option by pressing CTRL + bALT + NUM to reset your keyboard.
Try these solutions and get back to me on what happens.

didnt work. now am using an external keyboard. the new problem is how to turn on my Wi-Fi as the button (f12) is bad. is there any software I can download to turn it on and off. NB it's HP presario cq 57. W7

My Lenovo laptop suddenly went blank, the screen and flex has been tested and it is working perfectly, also the laptop was connected to a desktop and it displayed. Can any one help me detect what the problem is. The laptop is barely one year one. Thanks
