There was atime in Kenya Nollywood movies were really watched. They started becoming so predictable, same movie different cast. Kenyans got bored with them currently the viewership has been left to house helps and villagers.

Infact it's from your movies where I began to see how rundown Nigeria is. Shopping malls were poorly done, cool estates but no tarmac roads and luck of greenery. Your villages are worse. Nigerians are very noisy also.

Nollywood is huge,
There are different categories for all kinds of interest and viewership,

There are urban styled high class movies with unpredictable story lines, some producers even collaborate with Hollywood stars, and shoot at several locations both within and outside the Shores of the continent,

There are equally local movies with village settings, mostly comedies for comic relief, there are also nice traditional movies showcasing rich cultures,
So there is something for everyone.
