We all know how the APC called for the resignation of the former govt leader on any trace of a fault they could find inspite of whatever was being done right.

So many things were going right then, even though a lot was going wrong and the things that were going wrong were being perpetrated by all sides of the political class, the APC and other parties included.

When the former president complained of being over-criticized, they said that it was expected because the buck stops with him. I supported them on that one really because... they were right.

You see, there is a leadership law created by the leadership expert John Maxwell, called The Law of The Lid, which in summary states that no organisation or group of people can grow beyond the lid (stop point) that the leadership ability of their leader puts on them.

There is a business man whom he referred to, the chairman of a global hospitality advisory and consulting firm. Whenever this firm came into a client and took over, they always started to do two things. First, they trained all the staff to improve their level of service. Second, they fired the leader. It is the leader who determines the potential impact on the organization. They believed it was the leader that kept them at that level. In other words, the level on which the company was, was the reach of its current leader. In other words...

...the ability of the current leader marks how far they can ever go. And since they have come to make the organisation better, they have to get rid of the leader even if he is the nicest individual on the planet.

Now in Nigeria, I am convinced that Kemi Adeosun and the CBN gov are not as bad as they actually look. I just believe they are in a team with a leadership that is leading them in such a way that they look bad.

So many people know exactly what to do to make the economy and even the foreign exchange rate better but we are still here. (For example, how much foreign exchange does Nigeria spend in buying back and transporting the all the refined crude we consume in this country? I mean what is the exact figure in dollars we spend in buying back all the kerosene, diesel, and petrol we consume on a daily basis in this country?)

Anyway, in my opinion, we have seen the extent to which our president is no nonsense. We have seen the strength of his political will to do difficult things that just need to be done. We have seen his sense of judgment with regards to things he can or cannot say in public. Actually, some of the things he has said have given us an insight into the things he thinks in his mind.

We have also seen the direction in which his actions and inactions are taking almost everything...

South!

Now we also have a fair idea of his personal ability to recover from a bad situation. In terms of speed, very very slow if ever.

What I am saying is I believe we all can see the where the LID on president Buhari's leadership ability lies. It lies very low somewhere deep in recession and somewhere where the dollar is equivalent to something above to =N=500 and the burden of the whole situation keeps getting too heavy for the team to bear.

In all honesty, whether Buhari is the nicest man on earth or not, should he not reesingn, given that there is no indication that he possesses the ability to pilot the affairs of this country during (or out of these) trying times?

The resignation of a president does not automatically mean that people who stole or committed treason suddenly did not and that they will be suddenly innocent. The resignation of a president is just that - his resignation.

So you fledgling brain couldn't tell he used the word south as a metaphor and not in anyway to relate it to any region ...i have always said only 3 set of people will still support Buhari after his glaring failure

1 someone with a weak IQ

2 A career sectarianist or bigot

3 Some being paid to do so

Since Mr. President will NOT be resigning, you can go and resign him.

Those who messed up Nigeria are forming anger that the President is not fixing their mess fast.

Buhari is not going anywhere. And he will do what it takes. Nigeria will be better.

If it is the other team that wrecked the country this way, how come it is just about when this govt came into power that the country started speeding in the backwards direction?

Please do not tell us that crude petroleum now sells for between $30 and $40 because Obasanjo sold crude oil for $10 in his time and we are aware that things improved a lot under him. It was clear that the people in charge knew what they were doing.

I still say Kemi Adeosun is not really bad.
Her office was structured from the onset, in such a way as to make it weaker than it was when Okonjo-Iweala was in power.
