Unlike some ethnic groups in Nigeria, who have completely lost their identities, history and culture such that they bear English, Arabic, Latin surnames etc, Igbo names have both literal and contextual meanings. Arthur- It is a European name from the term Artorius meaning nobility, courageous, fame bearer.
Okowa- Also, Oko Owa. In Igbo phonology, two syllabic vowels standing together leads to swallowing (Olulo uda ime) so the two /a/ syllables that ought to stand together has undergone this process. Youth of Owa. Oko or Okoro means young man in Igbo, while Owa means a kingdom, a land in present Delta State. It could be that the governor’s forefathers made in pact in their community and are honoured or are personally proud of their community. 4. Ebonyi- Dave Nweze Umahi
Dave- It is short for David. It was the name of Biblical Jewish King.

6. Imo- Anayo Rochas Okorocha
Anayo- Also, Anayo Chukwu. Let us beg God. It echoes a daily reverence of God.
Rochas- It is derived from the name given to his conglomerate- Rochas Groups and Rochas Foundation. The name is popular among the less privileged beneficiaries of his scholarships across Nigeria.
Okorocha- Also, Oko Ocha. Fair complexioned young man or ‘Yellow!’. It is a name of style and pomp.
7. Rivers- Ezenwo Nyesom Wike
Ezenwo- Also, Eze nwe, eze nwe uba. A king has wealth. It is expected that a king possess wealth of barns, large household and farmlands.

Ikpeazu simply means the last one or last child

for clarification, Ipkeazu can be used in 3 different contexts with their attendant meanings:

1.Ipkeazu: back judgement. which means treacherous judgement delivered in once absence to victimize such person. Such judgement is born out of hatred, and intimidation.

2. Ipkeazu : Ipkeh means money in Ngwa dialect. azugh means cannot buy. therefore, if you coin these together, you have Ipkeazu which means money cannot buy. it means a child is a precious gift which money cannot buy.

Wike is an Ikwere man. Ikweres pronounce 'Nwa' as 'Nwo'. So wikes name is Eze-Bu-Nwo (sometimes shortened to Ezenwo) which means a child is king.

Ugwuanyi literally means 'our Mountain/Hill'. It is referred as saying in English 'our Rock'

Ikpeazu means 'The last' or 'Final'. It can also mean 'corrupt judgement'
