TOPIC: WHEN HE DIED... -1
BASIC SCRIPTURE:
PSALM 90: 1-12
Cuban - Americans and Cubans worldwide poured into the streets with cries of, "Cuba Libre!" and "Freedom! Freedom!" as they celebrated the death of their former leader, Fidel Castro. Many of them, driven out of Cuba by the late Fidel Castro's communist regime, honked car horns, banged on pots and drums, danced, cried and waved Cuban flags in a crush of communal euphoria. I was shocked when I heard a Cuban-American, Pablo Arencibia, 67, a teacher who had fled Cuba 20 hears ago, make the following statement: "It's sad that one finds joy I'm the death of a person, but that person should never have been born." Another man said: "Satan is now the one who has to worry," because "Fidel is heading there and is going to try to get his job." Wow! Fidel struggling for Satan's job in hell? On Facebook, I saw this: "It took so long!" A 78 year-old retiree named Hugo Ribas, in a voice full of rage mixed with euphoria screamed: "He should have died a long time ago! He is a criminal, a murderer and a wretched being. The brother should have died too - in that family they're all criminals! " Twitter was not left out! Someone twittered: "There was too much pain and too many broken families, and now - I'm happy. A tyrant is dead and a new beginning can dawn on the last remaining communist bastion of the Western hemisphere." As I watched celebrations instead of tears at the death of this man, I remembered my own former president, Mr. Abacha, whose death provoked wild parties across my country. And today's devotional struck my soul with a question: "What will people say at your death?" In life, it is always good to begin with the end in mind. Since the end is a compulsory bus-stop for everyone, you must be careful because your daily life is writing what will be said about you at your funeral. Planning your funeral is wisdom as stated in Psalm 90:12. "So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom." Numbering your days means planning with your end in mind! Once in a while, sit down and plan your own of future funeral. This week provides a chance to connect to your most important priorities because someday, men will weep, celebrate or be happy at your departure. Plan now!

TOPIC: WHEN HE DIED... -2
BASIC SCRIPTURE:
ECCLESIASTES 7: 1-9
Today's devotional write-up verse 2 says: "It is better to go to the house of mourning, than to go to the house of feasting: for that is the end of all men; and the living will lay it to his heart."
That is talking about planning your daily life with the compulsory last bus-stop of death in mind. That helps you with the ultimate realization that there is coming a day, when you will be alone in a cold casket without the crowd. On such a day, people will either celebrate sarcastically or weep because they miss you for the lifestyle you lived. But through today's devotional, the Holy Ghost wants you to answer this question: "What will men say about you on your last day?" Note verse 4 of today's scripture also: "The heart of the wise is in the hands of mourning; but the heart of fools is in the house of mirth." That's also talking about living your life with the end in mind. Oh! That's talking about writing your own funeral plan without fear! To do this, follow the following steps:
1. Allocate a quiet time appointment with stuff yourself.
2. Find a quiet place that is completely private.
3. Make a list of those in your life who matter the most.
4. Now, visualize your own funeral. Visualize the church set up, arrangement of chairs; visualize the choir and hymns for that day. Visualize a box with you inside still.
5. Then visualize what each person will say about you. Imagine that the people who matter the most to you were given 5 minutes to speak. What will they appreciate about you? What did your life teach them? Write these words down as if you were that person.
6. Determine what would have to change in your life in order to create this outcome. But hear the good news: You are not dead yet! You can still change the outcome! Wow! That's great news indeed! Thank you Lord Jesus! I (You) can still take necessary steps to begin again. Do you need to make a reconciliation? Do you need to make a phone call, love your wife or husband again, spend more time with your children or loved ones, etc?
Today's devotional is just a reality discussion! It is not to create fear but to create faith that your end will be good and that your departure from this planet will be a big loss to the world because your life made a great impact for good. Oh, that shall be your story! Amen! Start today!

TOPIC: BENNY HINN: I AM OPEN...
BASIC SCRIPTURE: MATTHEW 18: 1-11
Pastor Benny Hinn visited Nigeria last year 2016 for a programme, but he had visited Nigeria in 2005! During the 2005 power conference, he exploded in anger because he felt he was "cheated " by the pastors who organized that programme. But when he visited Nigeria again last year, he was asked by journalists on his memories of the 2005 crusade. Hear him: "I don't remember much of what happened back then. All I can recollect is that we spent a lot of money for the crusade but the crowd didn't come. I don't know why but I learnt from Rev. Bonnke that the promotion wasn't done properly. It doesn't bother me at all again. I have actually forgotten about it all. I don't remember the incident." He was asked again: "Have you been able to reconcile with some of the religious leaders who felt offended by your outbursts then?" Hear him: "I don't even know who they are. I don't know how to find them. I don't remember them, please forgive me. I won't even be able to recognise them if I see them, neither do I remember their names but I am fine with it. I am peaceful with it but, if you feel there is need for some form of reconciliation, I am open to it. Honestly, I will love to meet with them. I am a happy man. And everything is fine with me." Note the words: "I open to it" and "I am a happy man!" Releasing people that hurt you creates peace that money cannot buy! To wish others will not hurt to is wishful thinking because it must happen. As long as you are in this flesh, the Lord Jesus said offences must come. That means people must hurt you! Benny Hinn has released those that offended him and those he offended. That is the best attitude to living. Why carry somebody in your heart when he is not your God? The person you put in your heart becomes your idol. That means unforgiveness turns you into an idol worshipper! Note this: The first to apologize is the bravest, the first to forgive is the strongest, and the first to forget is the happiest. Your duty is to forgive everyone and leave them to God. You don't have to live with, work with or trust them again but you can't afford to be bitter! Yes, you must forgive and forget them but never forget what lesson they taught you. Forgiveness must not mean you must trust again, it means you have learnt a lesson and you must not be hurt again by the same person. In a marital relationship however, forgiveness is your full time job because you cannot divorce anyhow due to every offence. If you are divorced, refuse to be bitter, even though it hurts. Move on because your best days are still ahead.

TOPIC: OH, RUTH NAOMI!
BASIC SCRIPTURE:
RUTH 1: 11-18
Our Basic Scripture today talks about someone who refused to give up pursuing her goals because of barriers. She is Ruth Naomi. Her mother-in-law discouraged her, tradition discouraged her, past life events like her being a widow as a young lady discouraged her; and maybe friends discouraged her too, but she just refused to give up! In this world of harsh end time trials, anyone can give up! Please always remember that nobody ever travels the road to greatness and success, without one or two 'tyre' punctures. To expect life to be very perfect and fashioned to your exact desire and taste leads to deadly frustration! I re-echo it again: One of the most common success principles ever preached is just 3 words: Never Give Up! The disgraced and impeached American President, the late Richard Nixon, wrote that: "A man is not finished when he's defeated. He is finished when he quits." Please, in this second quarter of 2017, like Ruth, refuse to quit. For her ruggedness, God gave her the privilege of being the grandmother of Jesus Christ. The battles of life come like floods sometimes, but never quit! Cry if you must, fast if you must, lose your sleep if you must, but never ever give up because "I can't is the conclusion of fools. Use today's meditation to bounce your life and ministry back again. Always repeat to yourself and remind the devil: " A knock down is not a knock out." A man called Clareth Booth said: "There are no hopeless situations, there are only men/women who have grown hopeless about them." Margaret Thatcher, popular ex-Prime Minister of Britain said, "You may have to fight a battle more than once, to win it." Please always remember your grandmother Ruth! If you don't give up, I see a miracle happening concerning that mountain! An EVIDENCE that will make you so UNCOMMON shall locate you in Jesus name. I am also being told now that something great and positive will happen to you that will make men to scream aloud: There is God! There is God!! Indeed, There is God!!! " Amen and amen!

TOPIC: WHAT TO SEEK!

BASIC SCRIPTURE: 1 CORINTHIANS 13: 1-13
Verse 13 of today's scripture is a strong reminder of the things that matter most to God in your Christain race. That loaded scripture says that of faith, hope and love, the greatest is love. Would you prefer to be remembered as an apostle of signs and wonders or an apostle of love? Do you seek for grace to love more or grace for more miracles? Seeking love is seeking God, for God is love. Miracles are an automatic benefit of God's presence, but don't seek them! Let this generation see the true, pure, undiluted love of God through your life and family. As famous as Valentine's Day is, do you know that it was a day originally set aside by true lovers to mark the killing of a Christain priest called St. Valentine? He was a brave priest who shared his Christain faith in the then pagan land of Rome. In doing this, he got the Roman king (a pagan), angry. The king jailed and eventually killed him. The king also decreed against any form of Christain marriage. However, before Valentine was killed, he asked for permission to write to young couples he had wedded before his imprisonment and below were his last words:
Grieve not for me! Instead, rejoice, That you are man and wife, For life's priceless treasure (love), That's more precious than life!
Thus began the story of the lovers' day named after a brave priest, St. Valentine. The world may have corrupted and misunderstood the word "love" but you must show it. A wise man said: "Love will ask you to step out of your comfort zone, to sacrifice and to compromise. If you can't agree to those, love won't agree with you." Use today to dedicate your care and love for parents, children, your spouse, pastors and your neighbours! It is the debt you are owing a confused world. The greatest is love BECAUSE GOD IS LOVE! Seek it as you go out daily in the remaining months of 2017!

LUKE 1: 26-37
The story of Zechariah and Elizabeth is one that should encourage every believer in pressing on the Christain race. Before I draw Tod s lesson, hear this story:
A man of God is standing in the office of the prophet, with a strong prophetic anointing with signs following, was in a meeting when he was directed by the Holy Ghost to look towards a seat which a particular woman always sat during the meetings. However, on that particular evening in the course of ministration, he noticed that the seat was empty. Then he saw an angel who brought two babies (twins) to that empty chair. Unfortunately, the lady was not there. The following day, the prophet, who did not know much about the woman, asked her what her problem was and why she did not turn up for the meeting the previous day. She confirmed that her problem had been barrenness of long duration, but that the previous day, a sharp quarrel with her husband had prevented her from coming to the programme. It was a great tragedy! Now back to Zechariah and Elizabeth. What if on the day Angel Gabriel brought good tidings of the birth of John the Baptist, Zechariah was not at the temple (Church/Mountain)? He would probably have missed his timing for an age-long desired blessing! In this second quarter of 2017 and beyond, avoid distractions that keep you away from important appointments, work, school, church, prayer meetings, fasting programmes and things that would make your life move forward. Despite your 21 -day prayers, PPP prayers, living hold, etc, any delay can be a satanic provocation to cause you to rebel against God. That ANOINTING SERVICE or program you want to miss may just be your time of visitation and breakthrough. If You Make Your Focus Your Focus, You Would Soon Become The Focus Of Men. Refuse to be distracted from your throne! Hold on and hold out!

Some of years ago, a Lagos-based industrialist received a surprise package when the ambassador of one of the European countries invited him for lunch at the country's embassy. On getting to the embassy, the industrialist met a team of businessmen from the European country. They were in Nigeria to perfect plans for an investment in agriculture. They told the ambassador that they wanted someone who was not only knowledgeable in that area, but also trustworthy. The industrialist was called upon by the ambassador because of his past good character/integrity in life and business. God is talking to you today about building your career and your character together in 2017! Experts say that in the pursuit of professional breakthroughs, you lose more than you think you gain if you leave character/integrity behind. Shun all the temptations to cut corners in 2017! Don't sell substandard goods! Don't make promises you cannot keep! Don't break government rules! Don't escape your tax payments! Don't borrow what you cannot pay back! Strictly follow the ethics of your profession! Be fair on competition! Never forget that integrity will open doors for you and your children because integrity is the best collateral in life, business and ministry. Hear David Balsiger: "You can always tell what a man is, by what he does when no one is looking over his shoulders." Then, Lord Mountbatten also wrote: "I can't think of more wonderful thanksgiving for the life I have had than that everyone should be jolly at my funeral." That was the story of Jonathan! The people defended him from a ruthless 'dictator' - his father, and even at death, he was described as "Jonathan- who was slain in his high places." "High places" mean "A GOOD NAME." As 2017 moves on, build your life, career, business or ministry with character, because words are nothing where character speaks! Peace!

TOPIC: THE JOHANNESBURG DINNER LESSON AGAIN

Like a story told by Patricia Butler Dyson, I remember how years ago, as I sat with my wife and baby in a restaurant in Johannesburg, South Africa, a man with a long hair and an untidy moustache, slumped on a table near us. And from the look of his bulging overcoat, everything he owned was stuffed into his pockets. My little baby then over (now over thirteen) waved at him innocently and he flashed back a smile with his dented teeth. As we sat there wondering if this was one of the notorious Johannesburg "area boys," one of the fellow diner like us, suddenly got up from his table where he too was having dinner with his family, walked over to the man and spoke to him, then went to have a chat with a waitress. Minutes later, a huge pile of dinner surrounded by a "mountain" of fruits and a mug of fresh copy arrived at the man's table. He flashed a smile to his benefactor and went straight to level out the "mountain" of food. As that scenario played out, the Holy Ghost whispered to me: "AN HOUR-LONG SERMON ON THE THEME OF KINDNESS COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE ELOQUENT THAN THIS SIMPLE GESTURE." And what a lifelong message! We left that restaurant that night with a passion to pass on that kind of generosity! God is also dropping that mssg for you today. In this year 2017, in the midst of your own needs, please reach out to this dying and hurting world! Be an extension of God wherever you go daily this year! Let people see God's Hands through your hands, His mouth through your words, His legs through your visits/care. Hear George Gurdjieff again: "If you help others, you will be helped, perhaps tomorrow, perhaps in hundred years but you will be helped. Nature must pay off the debt... It is a mathematical law and all life is mathematics." Read the 1st Basic Scripture again! Peace!

I am led by God to use certain days of our devotional this quarter to motivate your life and ministry to greater heights in specific areas of your daily life. Today, heaven is: Determined To Do A Surgical Operation In Your Attitude To Life. Come Along Into The Theatre:
Your attitude and choices you make today will be your life tomorrow. Build them wisely! Listen to Brian Tracy: "You cannot control what happens to you, but you can control your attitude towards what happens to you and in that, you will be mastering change rather than allowing it to master you." Napoleon Hills wrote: "Life reflects your own thoughts back to you." Fulton J. Sheen was so blunt: "The mind is like a clock that is constantly running down. It has to be wound up daily with good thoughts." Did you get that? Oh! In this third quarter of 2017, develop a positive thought pattern daily! Hear William Ngwako Maphoto: "It is your disabled attitude that determines your disability and it is your disability that can or can't close opportunities in life for you." Roger Babson told his friends: "When we are flat on our backs, there is no way to look, but up." Even in failure and serious setbacks, be positive! Look up! When life knocks you on your knees, refuse to lie there. Turn it to your praying position! Oh, that you would never forget Thomas Jefferson: "Nothing can stop the man with the right mental attitude from achieving his goals and nothing on earth can help the man with the wrong mental attitude." Your attitude in life determines your ALTITUDE in life! Be like the Shunammite woman (today's scripture)! RESIST SATAN!

TOPIC: THE 90/10 PRINCIPLE
BASIC SCRIPTURES:
PHILIPPIANS 4: 6-13;
EPHESIANS 4: 26-27
To many people, life is a bore and cruel - there is constant stress, lack of joy and frustrated relationships. But God is determined to use the 90/10 principle to change you today! The principle says: "10% of life is made up of what happens to you. 90% of life is decided by how you react to what happened to you." Did you get that? What this means is that we really has no control over the things that happen to us. You cannot stop the car from breaking down. You cannot prevent the traffic jam. You cannot control those who gossip about you. You cannot control those who choose to betray or disappoint you, neither can you control how or where you were born. You cannot control people from hurting or irritating you, neither can you control the plane, letter or late arrival for appointments. You may not be able to control your financial situation or your health. Yes, all these make up the 10% of your life. The other 90% is different! You determine that 90% by your reaction to what happened (the 10%). For example, someone comes late to a crucial appointment. You can shout, fuss, curse, get angry, get worried or even cancel the deal. Such reaction can make you commit sin through your words, lose a promising relationship or even develop a health problem - hypertension. Another reaction would be to stay calm, express your disappointment at the lateness and ask if there was a problem. You can also smile and gently insist that the meeting begins immediately. By this second reaction, you have conquered a satanic plan to frustrate your day. Apply this principle to most things as you go out today and daily, and watch God turn your life, family, business and ministry into the GOSHEN of your generation even as you prepare for the 14-day fasting program starting from July 9th-22nd, 2017. TOPIC: THE 90/10 PRINCIPLE:
PRACTICAL APPLICATION

JAMES 1: 12-20;
EPHESIANS 4: 26-27
Please refer to yesterday's devotional encounter. Heaven will drop a few practical hints to turn you from pressure to pleasure! If someone says something negative about you, do not be a sponge. Let the attack roll of like water on glass. You do not have to let the negative comment affect you. React properly and it will not ruin your day. A wrong action could result in losing a friend, being fired, getting stressed up, etc. Proverbs 15:1a says: "a soft answer turns away wrath." How do you react if someone annoys you in a traffic jam or stress crops up in a bus? Lose your temper? Pound the steering wheel? Curse? Shout? Reply to every statement? Does your blood pressure shoot up? Have you forgotten that you have just one life and that it's better you are late to work or home than become the Late? Do you know that just one driver in a traffic jam sent by Satan can destroy your joy? Do you know that Satan can use one of your colleagues in your office to steal your joy? Please always remember the 90/10 principle! If you have no job or you just lost a relative or you lost a relationship (courtship or even marriage), what do you do? Lose your sleep? Go on drugs? Go on alcohol? Pity yourself? Get irritated or shout at everyone around? Get depressed? No! No! No! Use the time spent worrying to look for another job. Get a prayer partner in crisis! Call us - ODM lines! If one relationship breaks, God can raise a million others. Spend time staying around positive people! You can decide to serve God the more by it. Whatever happens, avoid worrying and stress! Laugh often and be positive! Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% of your reaction. You will not fail God or your generation! I see you ending this year with a great testimony as an EVIDENCE that your God is not a liar even as you prepare for the 14 -day fasting program starting from July 9th - 22nd, 2017. Peace!

TOPIC: HOW HEAVY IS YOUR BAG?
BASIC SCRIPTURE:
MATTHEW 18: 15-22
A University teacher told his class students to each bring a clear plastic bag and sack of potatoes. The lesson was that for every one they refused to forgive, he told them to choose a potato, write on it the name and date and put it in the plastic bag. Some of the bags as you can imagine were quite heavy. He then told them to carry this bag with them everywhere for one week, putting it beside their beds at night, on the car seat when driving, etc. The hassle of lugging the bag around made it so clear what a weight they were carrying. Naturally after a while, the conditions of the potatoes deteriorated to a foul smell. The teacher then told the class that it was a clear picture for the price we pay for keeping our pain and and carrying every worry done to us in our hearts. According to Dr. Redford Williams, the stress hormone CORTISOL which fuels anger, literally tears blood vessels, causing damage to your arteries. Continuous anger against yourself or anyone else, prevents the healing process from taking place! So once the damage is done, a single bout of rage can trigger a fatal heart attack. Forgiveness is the one power you always have over the person who hurt you. Lincoln said, "The best way to destroy an enemy is to make him a friend." Lewis Smedes wrote: "To forgive is to set a prisoner free and to discover that the prisoner was you".

This is a crazy world and in the midst of the perils (pain) of the end times, the hearts of many are crying out to their "unknown God " for help! God is today calling you to set a guard over your prayer altar! Millions do not know how to connect to God and they are writing letters daily to Israel. That is why you must thank God for what you know and you must not joke with your prayer plan! The calamity of Moab was exchanged by a sacrifice and by it, God "turned His back" on Israel. Your sacrifice can terminate DELAY, end a life of struggle, scatter barriers, destroy strongholds and break the can cycle of poverty. The difference today is that Jesus has been offered as the greatest and final sacrifice! So you are not meant to offer human or animal sacrifice. On that day, I was instructed by the Holy Spirit to give my phone and I told myself, "Impossible " because I had no job and that was the only treasure I had then. I was so restless and my heart was so heavy until I accepted to give out the phone at about 10:30am that same day. So, I called a pastor friend who has a ministry at Eleme, Port Harcourt. To my greatest surprise, he was already on his way to Port Harcourt from Eleme, heading somewhere but stopped by to see me. When I met him and told him the reason why I wanted to see him, he was dazzled and told me that he had been praying and believing God for a phone; that the one he had been using was very bad and had a bad screen. He was happy because my phone was a very recent model of Sony Ericsson Smart. He prayed for me and I left. Exactly seven days later, a call came in through my cousin that I should come for a job with all the necessary documents because I was to travel off to start work the next day and that was how my life changed for good. The Bible opens up with this emphatic statement as found in Genesis 1:1 - "In the beginning God..." It implies that there was no beginning without God. It means therefore, that before humanity, there was divinity! All rules be it scientific, political, biological, medical, academic, corporate, ancestral, traditional, cultural, marital, business, financial, career/professional rules, are earthly and they operate in the natural. But God can change them at will (today's scripture, Vs. 21). The story was told by a man of God, of a sister from a polygamous family who broke the demonic law of limitation by being the first and only one to receive a university education out of 17 children from that family. She also broke the rule by being the first and only one to get married in that family. Other children were unmarried, failures, "area boys/girls," robbers, and had disgraceful lifestyle s in their communities. On her wedding day, the senior witch and first wife of her father danced to her side and whispered in her ears that their coven only permitted her to go thus far, and from then on, she would never get pregnant! The witch danced away and nobody knew what she said except the bride. From that day and for the next two years, her menstruation ceased completely until serious prayers by a man of God brought forth her turning point. Wow! Great God! Note that the witch told her, she would never get pregnant! That was a satanic judgement and sentence against her marital destiny because she broke a demonic law that nobody would amount to anything in her family bloodline. But who has the final say? Note: AT LAST! That means the delay may not make sense NOW but AT LAST, IN THE END, YOU WILL KNOW WHY! Some years ago, there was a young man who was travelling from Lagos to Ondo State of Nigeria. He was the first passenger to board the 504 Saloon-Wagon Car. Shortly before take-off from Lagos, the driver suddenly picked a quarrel with him, which forced him out of the vehicle. His programme to leave Lagos early was disrupted and he was angry. He had to board the next car. Shortly, after some kilometres, precisely at a city called Ijebu Ode, they encountered the wreckage of the car from which he was forced out. Everybody in the vehicle including the driver had died. The question is: "What actually forced that young man out of the car?" Child of God, when God delays, He is not sleeping; He is working! "All things work together for good, to them that love God." ALL THINGS- including this delay battle confronting you! And a songwriter says: " it's intentional." God is an intentional God and His intentions are pure and faultless! These were folks who were extremely tired with the way things were with them! These sons of the prophets said (paraphrased): "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! THIS PLACE IS TOO STRAIT FOR US. THIS STATUS QUO MUST END." In other words, they were saying: "We Are More Than This! We Are Tired Of Being Confined, Caged And Incapacitated; We Desire and Demand The Enlargement Of Our Coast." They were angry with the STATUS QUO and by the grace of God, every STATUS QUO in your life, family and ministry will be demolished in this 14-day fasting programme! As far as God is concerned, no battle of life and destiny is supposed to be forever, except by divine ordination like in the case of Apostle Paul's thorn in the flesh (2 Cor 12:7-9). For it was of the LORD to harden their hearts, that they should come against Israel in battle, that he might destroy them utterly, and that they might have no favour, but that he might destroy them, as the LORD commanded Moses." Note the words: "For it was of the LORD." AH! SO, JOSHUA FOUGHT A LONG WAR! INDEED, THIS OUR GOD IS MYSTERIOUS! Joshua's long or extended battle was from God and it ended in his favour and God was glorified. What you call DELAY, is actually a long/extended battle(s) allowed by God. Any long battle allowed by God in your life will ultimately end up in your victory, promotion and testimony, because if God be for you, nothing can be against you. 1 Peter 5:10 is worthy of note: "But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you." Welcome to today's devotional with the Shepherd of your soul. In this second half of the years, the Holy Ghost wants you to know that there is a difference between been killed and dying. To be killed means to die before your time without fulfilling your destiny or fulfilling the number of your God- appointed days! But to die means to fulfill the number of your God appointed days. In this year of EVIDENCE, the HOLY GHOST is asking you to cancel DEATH BY MISTAKE which is also called EMERGENCY DEATH. Death by mistake or emergency death is also called, THE DEATH OF A FOOL (2 Samuel 3:33). I am led to ask: "If Jesus tarries on His return, will you be killed or will you die on this earth?" Note that the life expectancy of an African has risen to between 59 and 60 years. European life expectancy is between 77 and 81 years. Years ago, The UNO (United Nations Organisation) forecasted that most Africans would not see their 48th birthday. Wow! While the United Nations continue to release reports of caution and fear, you must listen to what the "covenant of long life" says concerning you and your family: Heb 9:27 proclaims: "it is appointed for a man to die but once..." Notice that it did not say, " It is appointed for a man to be killed but once." So in this fasting programme and beyond, degree that you shall not be killed by armed robbers, sickness and diseases, accidents, hired assassins or manipulation such as witches and wizards, etc. Psalm 91:16 declares: "with a long life will i satisfy him and shew him my salvation." Then Isaiah 46:4 S summarizes: "And even to your old age, I am He, and even to hoar hairs (gray hairs) will I carry you. I have made and I will bear; even I will carry and will deliver you Yes! This is the covenant of long life: Death ib old aye with satisfaction! Remind God daily of this word (covenant of long life). Stand in the gap for your loved ones using the same covenant. You will not die before your time! You cannot be touched and you cannot be killed. Your life and ministry are too hot for Satan now! But stay within the hedge and long life will be in your Evidence! Amen.

The morning after the great Chicago fire, a group of merchants stood in State Street looking at the smoking remains of what had been their superstores. They had a meeting to decide if they would try to rebuild or leave Chicago and start over in a more promising section of the country. They reached a decision- all except one to leave Chicago. The merchant who decided to stay and rebuild, pointed a finger at the remains of his once vibrant store and said, "Gentlemen, on that very spot, I will build the world greatest store, no matter how many times it may burn down." That was a very long time ago. The store was built. It stands there today, a towering monument to the power of determination as was exhibited by Mr. Marshall Field. God wants you to be determined even in the fire! Never complain or murmur even when the events around your life defy explanation. Hear what your grandfather (Abraham) said even when he was facing a big trial: "Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go and worship and come to you." Did he not come again to them? Say great things about your life, family, business, job, or ministry, even if all you see is delay, or defeat. Keep saying what you want to see! What you want to be is more permanent than what you are (2 Cor 3:18)! Mr make said. "There is no mistake so great as the mistake of not going on."
