ifenes: Well, according to Wikipedia, osiris is the god of the underworld and all that stuff. What does it prove about Christianity? Furthermore, what relationship exists between GOD and the sun except that it is a creature of GOD? When did the sun walk on water? And what does it prove about GOD? |

No scripture is of private interpretation, - 2nd Peter 1:20 Its obvious the writer doesnt know the definition of the word "plagiarism". Do you mean God copied God? |

felixomor: Define plagiarism, please. Are you saying it was God that wrote the Bible? Remember it's written somewhere in your Bible that God is not an author of confusion. Maybe if we take the book of Samuel, Kings and Chronicles apart, juxtapose the stories therein and try to do some indept analysis of the stories, you might ask yourself too who authored those confusions. Are you sure you know your Bible indept at all? Or you only know those verses they tell you to take home and meditate upon. |

adjoviomole: If "Jesus is the son of God" is the only noticeable similarities you can point out in your different versions of the Bible, then I put it to you that you are either lying, chose to ignore glaring facts like all of us dogmatic followers of our doctrines, or you are simply blind to the truth. The book of Matthew said "Seeing, they see not. Hearing, they hear not" |

wolesmile: If I carefully instruct my lawyer to write my will with detail instruction, who wrote it? Myself or my lawyer? Lets start from there. |
Re: Plagiarism In The Bible? by adjoviomole(m): 6:54pm On Sep 20, 2016 |
wolesmile: And who is lying here. All the versions of the bible points to the fact that Jesus is the son of God. And that we that bliv in Jesus and are saved will also be children of God |
Re: Plagiarism In The Bible? by wolesmile(m): 6:56pm On Sep 20, 2016 |
felixomor: So if you have more than one lawyer, you are bound to give to them different instructions, right? Take the case of the writers of Samuel, Kings and Chronicles. Take the case of the Genealogy of Christ by Matthew and the physician, Luke. Do we go on? |
Re: Plagiarism In The Bible? by adjoviomole(m): 6:57pm On Sep 20, 2016 |
hahn: If the bible was not written in Gods inspiration, how come the bible was the 1st to point out the shape of the earth, how come the bible was the 1st to say boldly that the earth hangs on nothing, it was said several yrs before scientist could even dream of traveling to space. How did this person know? If he was not inspired by the creator of the universe? |

adjoviomole: Can you listen to your argument? I just "love" the gullibility of our Christian Brothers. Point something out in their scripture, and they realize they have no logical explanation for it, they tell to all that matters is to accept the sonship of Christ. Hmmmmm |

Re: Plagiarism In The Bible? by felixomor: 7:33pm On Sep 20, 2016 |
wolesmile: As for Matthew and Luke. There are many possibilities for the different genealogies. In jewish custom, there was always a possibilty of having a lineage branch if a man remarried or someone died and his wife had to marry one of his brothers. If the man had no child, the child from the new marriage would carry on with the father's name. And there was always high possibility that this name would follow in the geneaology despite the new marriage. This new genealogy is the legal geneaology while the biological geneaology is also there. It is believed that Matthew traces the biological lineage while Luke traced the legal lineage. Now, if u never knew this part of jewish custom, u will be in a hurry to think that u have found a discrepancy, but there is none. U garrit? |

wolesmile: Read Luke's account of the genealogy of Christ on wikipedia. Luke most probably reported Jesus lineage through Mary. |
