Sir... you mean most of the men parading themselves as NASS members now including saraki... shocked shocked

I blame OBJ, Yar Adua for not Amending the Constitution and other neccessary Acts to enable them save...

The governors should not be blamed entirely since you have no legal powers to save..

However, they are all in the past.. advise Buhari to overhaul his economic team if he has one. cry cry

I think in general Nigerians and our leaders are all economically stupid. we keep talking about less than 50 billion dollars to pull us out of the recession or save us as a nation. Considering the global purchasing power parity, where price of goods in london is the same in naija or even higher, how can a nation of 170 million people(my figure)survive on 50 billion dollars when uk population is 70 million and yet they are owing over 1 trillion dollars.

OBJ was quick to pay back debts....what ever the negotiation he thought he succeeded in making, he should have been borrowing more to build refineries and create 247 electricity in order to attract foreign industries in Nigeria.

As for this recession and the dollar exchange rate...the only way out is if we build refineries and ban all export of oil, refine and use our oil, and any refined products left, sell to neighbouring african countries....

Once we can achieve that, the next step is to invite companies whose products are massively patronised by nigerians to open their factories in Nigeria or risk banning importation of their products.

Lastly, we cannot operate under one umbrella with the tribal divide. We should function as uk or us....the 4 regions should have their own government which reports to Nigeria...regional federalism.

We should have one official language....BROKEN ENGLISH

How did only Nigeria manage to have 250+ languages sef.....who all this plenty language EPP.....

For Zombies...time is not your friend....only time will prove GEJ as one of the best presidents naija ever had....and OBJ as the worst naija ever had...

as for the present cow!!!!!!....Fashiiiiiii

The problem with human beings is what you just said. Be a good person and people will take you forgranted saying that your a weak fellow.

Be a bad person and people will fear you saying that you are a strong man.

I just can't understand why people mistake goodness for weakness?

Those that accuse gej govt for not saving forget that ameachi was the one who pushed for sharing of excess crude. That was how he got all the northern governors to support him.

He did but against the law when he started Excess Crude Account (ECA) through Presidential Order without National Assembly legislating for it and clearly against the provision of the constitution

When people like you talk, you show how shallow and ignorant you are. What is being weak when there was no law establishing the ECA? The man started saving, Tinubu and his cohorts then took him to court saying his act were unconstitutional. No law established the excess crude account they said. They said they needed money for infrastructure and they had their way. The money was shared and wasted. During GEJ the same argument; sovereign wealth fund was thwarted by the same governors with recourse to law. So what make the leaders weak? You mean they should act outside the law and you will turn around and say they are undemocratic again. Greed of people like Tinubu put us we are today. He was one of the protagonist of sharing, probably so that they can have money to acquire all they have today. The same way he mobilised zombies to oppose deregulation when we had surplus and could have easily weather it. However today, the same man is what zombies called a patriot and champion of democracy. I feel pity for the shallowness of the minds of Nigerians. Enjoy the recession my brother.

You cannot ban importation. WTO will not allow. That is the burden the developed industrialized nations imposed on underdeveloped countries.

Good for OBJ. The same man who opposed jonathan and promoted buhari is tactfully trying to oppose Buhari now when the man included him among those who looted Nigeria. Maybe one day after buhari has embarrassed him enough, he will ask gej for forgiveness and seek alliance with him again.

OBJ is right. it's raining and we are drenched! we had our years of plenty but spent it. now we are looking at what else is in the house to sell that as well which could leave a dearth for tomorrow. btw egypt had equal famine as years of plenty.
