The budget padding brouhaha is becoming messier by the day as the whistle blower has been suspended. According to the Punch online "The Federal House of Representatives has suspended its chairman of the Committee on Appropriation, Abdulmumin Jibrin, for 180 legislative days, banning him from holding positions of authority for the rest of the eighth Assembly".
