Drlaw: Well, I am not arguing abt the "taking over all their ladies" part. You have a point there. Actually, I can beat my chest too when it comes to that part But the problem is, the average naija guy acts like he is above the law when he's outside the country. This behaviour gets pronounced when in another African (black) country. Their swag and sometimes reckless attitude gets them noticed. They are confident everywhere they go. So, it takes a lot of self assurance to match toe to toe with an exposed naija guy. This can breed misgivings among the menfolk in the host country, especially when their ladies find naija men irresistible. The immigration may overlook some other nationalities with expired visas, but they will be very enthusiastic to cut a Nigerian down to size once he flaunts the law. 5 Likes |

Iweep. ..any nigerian who reads this and makes a Joke of this should be ashamed. Nigeria was meant to be the U.S of africa.we have everything we need.natural resources, manpower, land, favourable climate, waterways, good soil, just name it. Yet,we've been made a laughing stock in africa.i was watching a documentary the other day of how Ghanians were chased out of Nigeria by President Shehu Shagari n i began to wonder if this is the same ghana nigerians are now running to and feeling "big" This is sad.Very very sad.what then was the purpose of fighting for independence if we still rely solely on the help of the whiteman for everything? 6 Likes |

symbianDON:Allow me to correct a false impression you appear to have . We kenyans also belong to the human family and so are subject to its( humanity's )limitations. There's been an upsurge in folks from Nigeria in the country, and they have been doing their reputation no good by engaging in acts to arouse suspicion, or even worse do crimes (yes, overstaying your visa is a crime anywhere ). I live on the ground, and can tell you they indeed come over to hustle. It's your word against mine. Anyone is welcome here, so long as they OBEY the law, don't upset local norms, and behave decently. You may come 1 million per month, but if you all came with suspect intentions, your numbers are not important. The law is. 5 Likes |

MtuMsuper:I wanted to ignore you but your deliberate attempt at mischief while trying to sound intelligent, is appalling. The guy you quoted there made some salient points which you chose to ignore and instead went on your mischievous ramblings. I will remind you once more ; 1. Thousands of Nigerians visit Kenya on a monthly basis, and thousands more return without overstaying their visas. 2. 25 Nigerians who overstayed their visas does not and should not be a reference point to tag every other Nigerian in Kenya as people who flout the law. 3. Why are Nigerians being targeted? Last time I was in Kenya, there are thousands of immigrants from neighboring countries doing NOTHING in Kenya, but the tweets deliberately singles out only "25" Nigerians. 8 Likes |

KENYAN RAIL SYSTEM IN COMPARISON TO NIGERIA -Kenya has one of the most ambitious rail system in sub-saharan Africa, the SGR(Standard gauge Rail) NIGERIA- 3,984 kilometers of track Railways in Nigeria are operated by the Nigerian Railway Corporation. Nigeria's rail system has 3,984 kilometers of track, most of which is Cape gauge. The country has two major rail lines: a western line that connects Lagos to Nguru, and an eastern line that connects Port Harcourt to Maiduguri. The Lagos–Kano Standard Gauge Railway is being built in segments to replace the western Cape gauge line. KENYA- 2,066 metre gauge kilometers of track & Standard gauge 800 kilometers of track Kenya boasts of two railway tracks, the old and the new modern SGR standard gauge Railway line which is 90% complete. Kenya-Uganda railway- The former Uganda Railway, was run by the company East African Railways. It jointly served the present countries of Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya. Since the dissolution of the EAR corporation in 1977, the national company Kenya Railways Corporation runs the former Uganda Railway and its branches in Kenya. The most important line in the country runs between the port of Mombasa and Nairobi, sleeping car accommodation is offered for tourists. In 2006, the Rift Valley Railways Consortium led by South African companies took over the operation of the Kenyan and Ugandan railway network on a contract lasting 25 years, with the opportunity of renewal. After criticism from the Kenya Railways Corporation, RVR doubled the frequency of service, and also imposed restrictions to reduce train derailments caused by the ageing infrastructure.[5] RVR run passenger trains within Kenya only, primarily from Nairobi to Mombasa but also to local towns such as Kisumu. Passenger services on these lines are offered on peak periods only. Freight services are the bulk of RVR's operations. In 2008, agreements were made with Uganda about gauge standardisation. The Mombasa-Nairobi SGR is the biggest infrastructure project in Kenya since independence. It will shorten the passenger travel time from Mombasa to Nairobi from more than ten hours to a little more than four hours. Freight trains will complete the journey in less than eight hours. The Class 1 line will have a superior design catering to robust and low-maintenance requirement. The new line will run parallel to the existing meter gauge railway and the Mombasa-Nairobi Road or A109 Highway for the most part. It will deviate at certain points to attain the desired gradient and curvature. The freight terminals will be located at the Mombasa port and the Inland Container Depots at Embakasi in Nairobi. The railway line is designed to carry 22 million tonnes a year of cargo or a projected 40% of Mombasa Port throughput by 2035.

MtuMsuper:Be honest the most expensive cars and good houses in kenya is own by women not to talk of single mothers Nigerian men married many wives because we always capable and we don't run for our responsibility I don't meaning to disrespect a person like u that's logical in reasoning but to say the fact most kenya men can't withstand anyone been successful than them I have lived here and I know this I have a couple of Kenyan male friends when we are together they always amazed how we treat women and this where you guys have lost it. Most of us living here just enjoy the company and motivation of your women unlike Nigerian ladies ... I will talk about that later. . And let reason it this way if anyone has not commit crime saying been in the country when their visa elapsed is absolute violation of free will of human right since they didn't come in illegal kwani what is the mean if "neutralization"? 1 Like |

philip0906:If you really must know, there is an increase in unsavoury looking and acting characters from your country over here. And there been a correlative and causative element to upsurge in e-crime to their presence. I live in a place where a Cameroonian man who has married a local runs a liquor store, and he is the most down man you will ever find. No shady dealings, cool guy who talks endlessly about football. He eats ugali and barbecue like a local and tries to get involved in local issues. His Swahili improves by the day. Such a man we adopt as our in law as well as a African brother. Ugandans in our midst are as old as the stones, we don't notice them. Ethiopians,Somalis and the horn brothers we are wary of, but then again their countries are not livable (well excepting Ethiopia ) and they know they are guests so they dont go around trying to transform the place into liitle homelands abroad. Your people however, along with south Sudanese, stand out as rude and disrespectful. Change that. If you live on the wrong side of the law, expect it to catch up with you. 6 Likes |

KENYA AND NIGERIAN COMPARISON AIR TRANSPORT NIGERIA- Population-173m Nigeria’s principal airports are Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos and Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja. Three other international airports are Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport in Kano, Akanu Ibiam International Airport in Enugu and Port Harcourt International Airport in Port Harcourt. Overall, Nigeria’s airports, whether international or regional, suffer from a poor reputation for operational efficiency and safety. Private domestic air carriers began to win business at the expense of Nigeria Airways, the former government-owned national airline which was declared bankrupt in 2004. The national flag carrier of Nigeria was Air Nigeria, in which Virgin Atlantic owns 49% and the remaining 51% by Nigerian investors until Virgin withdrew from the partnership on September 18, 2009. The national flag carrier then became Air Nigeria which suspended operations in 2012. Arik Air is now a large airline serving Nigeria and has transported over 10 million passengers. KENYA- Population-44m Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, is Kenya's largest airport and serves the most destinations. Some international flights go to Moi International Airport in Mombasa. Kisumu Airport was upgraded to an international airport in 2011 and a second phase of expansion is under way. In 2012, US Navy Seebees built a major new tarmac runway at Wajir Airport that can take heavy aircraft. Kenya Airways Ltd., more commonly known as Kenya Airways, is the flag carrier of Kenya.[4] The company was founded in 1977, after the dissolution of East African Airways. The carrier's head office is located in Embakasi, Nairobi,[5] with its hub at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.[6] The airline was wholly owned by the Government of Kenya until April 1995, and it was privatised in 1996, becoming the first African flag carrier to successfully do so.[7] Kenya Airways is currently a public-private partnership. The largest shareholder is the Government of Kenya (29.8.%), followed by KLM, which has a 26.73% stake in the company. The rest of the shares are held by private owners; shares are traded on the Nairobi Stock Exchange, the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange, and the Uganda Securities Exchange.[7][8] Kenya Airways is considered one of the leading Sub-Saharan operators;[9] as of January 2013 and was ranked fourth among the top ten African airlines by seat capacity, behind South African Airways, Ethiopian Airlines and EgyptAir.[10] The airline became a full member of SkyTeam in June 2010, and is also a member of the African Airlines Association since 1977. They have local domestic flights which include Jetlink, Fly540, KQ and Jambo jet. |

Over staying of visas is illegal but why is it only Nigerians that are targets. Are they the only illegal immigrants in that country. Why are we always the target of attack every where. I lived in Gambia for four years and Nigerians were always the target of immigration there. While there are thousands of Gambians in Nigeria without being harassed. They live within the hausa community and do their business without harassment. What work are the Nigerian immigration doing, Nothing. In Gambia Immigration don't just stay at the border they enter the streets searching for illegal immigrants but Ever since I was born I have not seen Nigerian immigration on the street of Nigeria doing there job, it's only on the border. Something is seriously wrong with our system may God help us. Are there no illegal Kenya immigrants in Nigeria? 1 Like |
