Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu says the agency’s anti-corruption efforts are not biased.

Speaking during a courtesy visit to the Headquarters of the National Union of Textiles and Garment Tailoring Workers of Nigeria (NUTGTWN) in Kaduna, Magu dispelled the insinuation in some quarters that EFCC operations was one sided in the fight against corruption, saying, this was not true.

He said that the bane of the fight against corruption in the past was the lack of political will, noting that, with the political will demonstrated by President Muhammadu Buhari and his Vice, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Nigeria will soon win the battle against corruption.

Magu said that President Muhammadu Buhari gave the commission an additional mandate to investigate every Nigerian in government, irrespective of party affiliation in order to win the war against corruption.
