You may not know the lady, Ivie Edobor, but she was almost killed by her estranged husband not long ago. She had been separated from him for two years, living with her children in her own home. She left him because of years of domestic violence and extreme abuse. The man continued to threaten her all these years.

A few months ago, he came to her house and used heavy rod to beat her. He beat her so badly that he broke her bones in many parts of her body, including her femur. She passed out and lay there for dead. Miracle occurred. Ivie regained consciousness, but in an impossible state to rise. She was taken to the hospital where she received treatment and started a very long and difficult recovery process. She can’t walk, can’t move around, due to the terrible pains in her body. The police arrested the husband and charged him with assault, rather than attempted murder. She is determined that he should be punished. A Facebook user shared her experiences yesterday.

It is a terrible situation in the country. Romance has gone out of the window and beasts have taken over the field. No one knows how Ivie Edobor’s case will end. Will she walk again? Will her husband be punished, in this story of romance gone sore? The coming weeks and months will tell.
