Text: Psalm 136:1-6
Thanksgiving is a necessity if we really know our God. Thanksgiving is an expression of thanks. Thanksging is giving credit to God for keeping us alive, it is the reason why we are alive. Your hour of freedom is conceived in your thanksgiving. Thanksgiving produces multiplication. Thanksgiving is God changing our position. Romans 4:9-20, Thanksgiving is honouring God, is a seed which gives harvest of abundance. Thanksgiving will make your destiny manifest. Psalm 142:7. Thanksgiving open heavens gate, heavens gate recognises the voice of Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving makes the devil sad, Genesis 4:5-6. If you want the impossible to turn around start giving thanks. When you stop blessing blessing God, blessing stops. Thanksgiving is that invincible weapon against satan. 1 Thess 5:18, Thanksgiving gives the devil paralysis. Thanksgiving injects life into a dead situation. The best way to make satan mad, is to give God the highest praise. Thanksgiving triggers favour, blessing, breakthrough. When a man stop thanking God, he starts going down. When you want your thanks to be full, you must be full of thanksgiving. Thanksgiving gives you unlimited favour, breakthrough. The man who stop appreciation God, start depreciating in Life. Praise is a recognition that God is still in charge. You make the devil angry when you thank God, nothing paralyses satan than magnifying God. Something has to happen. Until you thank God for your food, your menu cannot change. Exalt God and you too will be lifted. Thankgivers never beg. The best fullness of life is in thanking God. Praise Him as a tool that will dig you out your trouble, praise Him and every thing the enemy stole, there shall be restoration. Magnify God when you need God to vindicate you in the case you are facing. The shadow is the not the real thing, whatever has been scaring you is a shadow. God inhabit praise, God does not inhabit problems. You need to magnify God.

In the beginning, all was well. Things moved from good to very good. The very first encounter between man and God was a blessing. God commanded and said to man be blessed. Man started very well, man has abundance of everything. Genesis 1:29, Gen 2:8-9, Gen 2:10-12, man has enormous capacity Gen 2:19-20. Man was also cloth in Glory. Man started very well, then sin came Genesis 3:1-6, the moment sin came several things follow, shame came, fear came Gen 3:8-10, curses man Gen 3:6-17, Gen 3:24, God drove them out of the garden. Sin is a terrible thing.
Gen 3:15, Rev 1:8. Jesus was the beginning of beginning.
2 Corith 5:17. When you are in Christ, God give you a brand new beginning. Mathew 1:21, 1 John 1:17.
There can be no restoration until sin is removed.
Jeremiah 1:4-5. Isaiah 64:8, because God was there when you were formed, He can fix any deformation in you. Jeremiah 18:4
Prayer: Father, whatever is wrong with my system, please correct it tonight.
Before your mountains came, God was there. He has the ability to uproot every mountain. Psalm 90:1-2, Mark 11:22-23. Every mountain can be uprooted because He was there from the beginning
Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus, I command every mountain in my life, move now in the mighty name of Jesus
He was there before your fruitless effort began Genesis 29:31, Gen 30:1-2, 30:22-24.
Prayer: Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, put an end to every fruitless effort in my life
God knew the beginning of your storms, Mark 4:35-41
Prayer: Father every storm in my life, turn it to a testimony
Because He was there at the beginning, Jesus can restore all your loses. He can change curse back to blessing Gal 3:13-14, He can change hard labour to rest Mathew 11:28, He can change shame back to Glory, He can change loneliness to fellowship, He can give you complete restoration. But there is only one word of warning, after you have been saved and God has started the process of restoration don't go and sin again. Hebrew 10:26-29, 2 Peter 2:20-22.
Prayer: Father, whatever I will do that will get me into sin again, please don't let me ever do it.

We have to deal with the devil because he was the original trouble maker. Everything was great in the garden of eden before the devil showed up. 1 John 3:8. God will not ask you to do what He knows you cannot do. The Almighty God lknows we have the ability to forgive, the ability to forgive is left with us. This means the devil can be resisted. Philp 4:13, not only can the devil be resisted, the devil must be reisted. Mark 16:17, The devil is not to be worshipped Exodus 20:3, the devil is not to be glorified Actt 8:9-24. The devil is not to be tolerated, Mathew 15:21-28, the devil is not to be accommodated Mark 5:11-13, the devil is not to be served, Mathew 4:8-10, the devil is not to be loved, Mark 12:30-31, the devil is not to be advertised, advertised Jesus, Acts 1:8, you are not to associate with the devil in any form at all, 2 Corith 6:14-16. And now the question comes, resist the devill and he will flee the devil, the bible cannot lie. If you resist the devil and he did not flee, it means you have not submitted to God completely. Your commitment to God is incomplete that's why you are still afraid of the devil. The blood is your cover. 1 John 3:8, if you are living in sin, you are of the devil, if you belong to the devil and you are his servant, you cannot tell him to get out, Acts 19:11-17. You cannot be one leg in Christ and one leg in the word and ask demon to move.
The moment you submit to God, you can now resist the devil and he will flee away from you. We are to resist the devil not casaully but steadfastly. 1 Peter 5:8-9 We are to resist the devil not in your name but in the name of Jesus. Don't entertain any fear and don't be afraid of the devil, he is under our feet, Zechariah 4:6, go in boldness. 1 John 4:4, don't be afraid, God in on our side. Genesis 14:1-16
Prayer: Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, no member of my family will go to hell
1. It is time to tell the devil, I refuse for you to control my future. 2 Kings 4:1-7, 1 Samuel 25:1-42
Prayer: Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, I decree, satan take your hands off my children

_1. If you ask contrary to His will 1John 5:14 -15_

_2. Because He has something better or bigger In stock for you - 2 Chronicles 1:6 - 12, Ephesians 3:20_

_3. Because you are too slow in asking or too casual in your prayers - Isaiah 55:6, Jeremiah 29:13, Hebrews 11:6, Luke 18:1 - 8._

_4. Not believing He will do it - Mark 11:22 - 24_

_5. Sin - The biggest obstacle to prayer - Psalm 66:8_
