The National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Prof Wale Oladipo has described his purported expulsion by an unknown group in Osun PDP as ‘a nullity and of no effect.’

In a press statement issued in Abuja,Oladipo noted that as a National Secretary of the party, he remains “a life member of PDP NEC ”even after my tenure as National Secretary.”
“No state executive council can suspend or expel a NEC member,” he said,affirming that, “the purported expulsion by a certain set of unknown PDP members masquerading as state exco members of the Party in osun state is, “an hallucination of highly disturbed minds.”

He described the author of the slanderous pronouncements, one Dr Faforiji, as a frustrated impostor at his wits end, warning him and his ilks not to abuse the laws of the land by engaging in criminal contempt.

While accusing the group of playing the script of a discredited chieftain of the party from Osun state ,Oladipo said he sympathized “with these misguided fellows on their frustration at being rejected by all well meaning leaders of the Party in Abuja due to the albatross around the neck of their lonely promoter”,he stressed.

He, however, expressed high hopes in the capacity of the behind the scene efforts of genuine national Leaders of the party to finally lay to rest the unfortunate crisis bedeviling the Party.
