GMB is doing NOTHING to grow the economy. The actions of the political class is responsible for where Nigeria is today though most of them tried to keep the ship of state going. but GMB is lacking in the idea to maintain what he met not to talk of moving the eonomy forward. The recession is biting harder because he failed to act right from the start and his strong man posture has driven the business elites underground. GEJ made mistakes but was not lacking in funtional ideas to midwife policies and take risks. in the real sense Nigeria is not as bouyant as it was in 2011 but Nigeria is not broke. GMB and his crew are bent on making life difficult for the populace. GMB should please tell us how much he has generated since coming to power and how much is needed to make life better for Nigerians. why is he sitting on policy actions that will grow the state and economy? why is he sitting on the capacity of his team to act? why is he sitting on already generated wealth? why is he overtaxing the poor? answers to this will tell who is responsible for the extreme hunger in the land 1 Like |

Darayola: Bro I am sure we wouldn't be in a recession because even with all these stories you told the economy was third fastest growing globally according to CNNMoney.com Furthermore, I am sure Fulani herdsmen would not have killed up 1000 people, I am sure southern Kaduna, Benue, zamfara, will not be a war zone. I am sure a sitting governor will not pay foreign Fulani men to stop killing Nigerians. I am sure We won't be in these situation. |

Tiffbuxas: U guys just keep deceiving yourselves. We know Buhari may be under performing, but saying the economy was fine before handover is a silly and nonsense thing to say. Should I remind u how many states were having back log of unpaid salaries? 27 states where bailed out of 36 states shortly after hand over. Was that a good economy? Contractors were owed huge sums which made them abandon sites, was that a good economy? Subsidy debts ran into billions before handover, was that a good economy? Nigeria was borrowing to meet up recurrent expenditure(paying salaries) as at feb, march this year, was that a good economy? Stop this foolish assertions only believed by u and ur lots who are kids or have zero knowledge of the happenings in ur country. |

progress69: States were owing backlog of salaries... so tell me what did they use their money for? was the central government responsible for that? we all know what happened. States used their money to bankroll their party's election my friend. That's not a yardstick to use. Tell us about companies that started after Buhari took over and those that shut down after since he took over. Tell us how many bank staffs were retrenched and how many were employed after he took over. These are the indicators to consider. |

KingsleyJohn: Highly unintelligent post. Was 2015 the first time elections were anyonducted in Nigeira? We have had 4 presidential and state elections in 16 years. How come the same scenario didn't play out in those years before now? Or are u saying states didn't sponsor political parties then. What made 2015 different? Making assertions that states used salaries of workers to sponsor elections thereby owing back log of salaries is the most ridiculous and foolish thing to say. I can't phatom the sensless logic behind that. Secondly. If u were earning 500k a month b4, and u started earning lesser till u started earning as low as 50k a month, will the standard of living u were living @ 500k per month be the same as when u were earning 50k a month? Nigeira was earning above $100/barrel of crude in the past, and later deeped to as low as $28/barrel and wouldn't rise above $50/barrel in months and u expect to still live the kind of wreckless life u were living before without savings? Why am i even giving u attention? |
