On our part, we have solemnly promised this nation that we are going to secure it against all threats, manage its resources efficiently and with demonstrable transparency, and then fix whatever is amiss in it. Under an APC government, no one will go to bed hungry, angry with the government or with the fear of insurgents or nocturnal visitors. We shall secure the government for the people and fix it. And, verily, we shall deliver on every of our promises.”

Gen Mohammadu Buhari - January 12th 2015,

When those who milked the poor to the marrow are still celebrated as kings, then they deserved the hunger.

Oil at $100/bbl is not equal to oil at $38/bbl.

2.2 million bbl/day is not equal to 1.2-1.7 million bbl/day.

If at $58/bbl, obj handed $62 billion in foriegn reserve.

at $95-$117/bbl, $62 billion was depleted to $29 billion.

now at $26/bbl-$48/bbl, foriegn reserve is moving up marginally from $24-$26 billion.

If we continue to live in sentiments.
absolving prodigal leaders of any wrongdoing.
we then deserve to face all we are facing.

with same mind set of the divided citizen, we deserve worse even when buhari leaves office.

however, with right mind set (which we are bereaved of at present), we deserve a better future.

Well, if I chose to tow your line of reasoning, I may also insinuate that you are paid for airing your view.
However, It remains a blame game from you to think that our decisions of yesteryears has no impact on our today.
It implies that whosoever take up governance after buhari can not think that buhari's regime is the cause for whatsoever he is facing in the office.

Conclusion: Nigeria's current ordeal has nothing to do with decisions of the past, so also today's decision have no impact on the future.
I hope this vacilate the blame game theory.
