Yesterday, a cross section of Akwa Ibom Youth ambushed Distinguished Senator Godswill Akpabio. This happened at the wedding reception of Mr Emmanuel Nicholas Okokon (aka White Bum Bum) at Emerald Event Centre along Nsikak Eduok Avenue, when the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Godswill Akpabio graced the wedding reception. A visibly surprised Akpabio was shot of words as he kept smiling and playing with the youths. However, Sen Akpabio urged Akwa Ibom people to continually support Mr Udom Emmanuel and his administration as he is very sure that Gov Udom will not disappoint them. The former Governor and Senate Minority Leader, Sen Godswill Akpabio acknowledged that with the pace of ongoing projects in the State, he is satisfied with the Gov Udom Emmanuel's administration. He noted that he personally went to Eket - Ibeno road to see things for himself, and it is surprising to him that the road is almost near completion. Whenever i see d likes of Akpabio,Saraki,GEJ,PEJ and d likes being enthusiastically supported by people,or all PMB's policies and actions(inactions) being defended vigorously,I come to d stark realisation that there is no hope for this country. Individuals may succeed on their own due to dint of hardwork,being in position of authority to embezzle funds or by God's grace,but d Nigerian state is a failed one that offers no comfort,plan or shelter for its citizens to succeed due to visionary leadership. doctokwus: Haven't you heard that the land (Nigeria) is cursed. Nothing normal happen in this place but they want to compare themselves with the citizens of other countries that are educated and knowledgeable about democracy. It's the biggest thief that are celebrated in Nigeria because the citizens are born of greed and natured to worship money, so if you are wealthy regardless of hard work or looting, you will be worshipped.
