Tomorrow he will still shout that budget implementation is just 30%. So how does he expect a 30% implemented budget to meet this computer purchase requirement.

What does he mean? This is only the second budget of this administration and if there is an additional need for computers which was overlooked in the previous year, why can't it be included. Some government's spent 8 years and some spent 6 years and they repeated the budget of certain commodities every year , no senator ever complained then.

Very true sir. Its outrageous, things like this can never happen in any sane country. And to further prove our insanity, we joke over them, Take a look at comments my fellow youths are making.
The problem with Nigeria is not bad leadership but bad followership. Year-in-year-out these people make the budgets public, we are aware of the fuckery and we do nothing about it, We just ENDURE and JOKE over it as usual.

U HAVE SAID IT ALL

Does he think he is in his village? We are talking of a presidential palace, which is like a whole vast community. And often play host to foreign dignitaries; the things use their need to be renewed every year to keep an estate that befits the presidency. This biased and misguided senator that want to sound as if he is masses-conscious is ill-prejudicial.

The world owes Africa nothing; it is Africa that has failed itself. The day Africa realises this and begins to act on it, that's the day the sun would begin to shine.

Very valid question; every year they budget for computers, stationery, kitchen utensils etc. God knows if they ever buy those items or if the money just gets pocketed.

Such a stupid Nigerian.
Instead of holding your leaders to task, you are attacking voters who did not have the spirit of prophecy to know Buhari would turn out to be a lousy president.

This is 2017. In two years time we will be voting anew for new leadership. Instead of you and your co-travelers to be looking for solutions on how to move Nigeria forward...or to figure out how to identify good change agents, you're here on Nairaland and social media exchanging blames!

Even someone as crass as Donald trump recognized the difference between criticizing Obama and criticizing the people who voted him in in 2012.

GEJ was a shitty President. Buhari is a shitty president. I do not blame voters...I blame both leaders who had the chance to fix NIGERIA and let us all down.

Baba u better chill, the voters have always been the problem, they vote base on party and ethnicity .

I'm still wondering why someone will vote for Buhari after reading or hearing about his history, the man couldn't even meet INEC requirement to contest, in fact of all the political parties that participated in the election the citizens could only see APC and PDP as the best option..

I believe they are getting wiser now, if you vote in the right candidate you won't be wasting all your time trying to make them accountable cos the right person will know exactly what to do..

Next time, citizen should ask how a candidates will achieve his/her promise before electing them into office.

That is why they cannot know what the masses are going through shocked shocked
See the money they accrue every year.
Their children are able to school abroad while the masses are on strike.
God will judge them and their yeye...
