As for me,I think I prefer WhatsApp,I've opened several BBM accounts but I always forget to open them  because I don't like the app

In all my years of using a smartphone.. I've never for once thought of using bbm, i don't even know how it looks like... so whatsaap all the way. |

BBM anytime  Any one can have access to your phone contact and viola. On BBM however, I must first grant access to a prospective contact before any thing Whatsapp is ideal when ever I want to do business. But BBM is for more personal ish |
