What exactly does Febuary 14th stand for?...Lovers day, or just a regular date on the calender?

I guess valentine's day is overrated and only those who are into forced love and affection set out a special day to celebrate what should be a regular subconcious effortless act.

Genuine couples don't need to celebrate Valentine's Day in order to validate their bond, because Valentine's Day is just a day that has become a highly commercialized day of forced love.

Having a date on this day has become a status symbol more than anything else. It means that you're somehow better, and more successful than your single friends which is obviously outrageous.

So many single people tend to feel odd on this day simply because they're without a significant other.

Real couples feel zero pressure to participate in this one day celebration of forced love.

In my world,i believe there are so many other things to celebrate than a calendar day that dictates how to show your love but real love and unwavering commitment to that special person should be celebrated far beyond a day.

I would rather spend my day doing other productive activities than be pressured into celebrating a meaningless and highly commercialized societal norm in the name of valentine's day.

But for those who still believe in St Valentine's day, I wish you all a happy celebration.
