GossipHeart:gbaammmm......u just hit the nail on the head straight up.i always tell people especially the northernerns this same thing.how dumb can a people be when they've had the largest share of leaders to have ruled the nation and still yet remain in abject poorverty.how do you explain that, thier silence?its so dumb to think of,and no one is asking questions.they (northern leaders)have succeded in using religion to blind them.instead of building schools for them they build more mosques and islamic schools.they don't want them to be exposed or come to know thier rights.if you are travelling from the north to the south once you get to enugu state you begin to think you were in another country.the whether, the infastructure and way of life and reasoning is so so different.indeed there was a country. |

The day corruption will be reduced to bearest minimum in Nigeria is when all Nigerians speak in unison against it and not with discordant tunes with which speak now and manner in which culprits are prosecuted, sentenced and the culprits are made unculpable. |

Yeah, d issue of owing used to be once in a while. It is done by the useless politicians we put in offices. As to the civil servants, majority of them dont do what is expected of them except yu tip dem. They are not productive. See how civil servants in Lagos are, very active and smart. Just go to other states to see what i am saying. In fact, 10k is too mich for majority of dem as minimum wage. anonimi: |

Dino, was it the civil servants that also caused the economic stagnation and recession in 1984 when buhari became the military head of state? Do you, yourself and the other greedy politicians act like leaders in a poor country? With all your flashy cars, customized wines, LV clothing, et al ? How many civil servants have you seen with that kinda lifestyle? You better remove the log from your eye so that you can see yourself and stop pointing your crooked finger at the innocent civil servants that you have all conveniently want to make the weeping child. |

Vanpascore: If they are not paid well and promptly, how do you expect them to be motivated and be productive? Has it occurred to you that those in Lagos are productive because they are paid (well and) promptly What is the productivity of a senator compared to a Level 08 Officer (a graduate entry level position) in the civil service for a senator to get multi millions from us while the graduate civil servant and teachers hardly receive N100,000? And yet they are even owed several months? We need to speak up and ensure our civil servants are paid well and promptly compared to politicians. That partly explains why many of our graduates and youths are ready to risk death going through Libya and the Mediterranean Sea into Europe to be under-employed slaves for decent, regularly paid wages. www.nairaland.com/attachments/4024041_image_jpeg_jpeg6f95b5e7a24ad4fc0808d6698fd37362 www.nairaland.com/attachments/3473732_salary_jpegb17a7eccd26afd09fff05feea950ccff www.nairaland.com/attachments/2900978_nigeria_jpeg4ee84b7726a847792475badcbc938fb7 1 Like 2 Shares |
