Military wears are worn in other parts of the world without any form of intimidation from anybody. I still can't understand the issue with the Nigeria military. |

If it is an offence for civilian to wear military uniform, then there will be a punishment for offenders and let such offenders or breakers of the law of military uniform be dealt and punished according to the law |

PaulKillerman: Shut up. I hope u know u are part of the foolish blacks. Its in the criminal code not to wear Military fatigue. We are fighting internal terrorism asides this, military fatigues are sometimes used to deceive peopke to commit Serious crimes. We are a developing country not a developed one. Its time u stick that into ur skull and stop silly comparisons 1 Like 1 Share |

owobokiri: Stop wallowing in ignorance. Silly comparisons only make u look less smart. We live on a developing part of the world not a developed one. We ae fighting interbal terrorism, and Military fatigues are used as disguise to commit heinous crimes. 1 Like 1 Share |

progress69: You are the one who sound dense and should dry up, you uncouth rat! What is silly there? Are there no African and Asian countries that allow citizens to wear that? I mentioned those 3 countries because of their supposed communist/socialist and Islamic credentials. They are supposed to be tougher places to live than your democratic eldorado. . . The ban here on camo has been around before your "interbal terrorism" started, so you may need to find a new excuse... Its like some of you cant make your posts and wriggle back to wherever you are coming from without insults. Thunder faya you there.. |

Blue3k:Absolutely! And because this brave disabled man had the audacity and brave enough to stand up for every ones right means to the cowards is he must be after money or fame, i mean how much could the price of giving up his rights be? Yes! As you have rightly asserted in a normal environment when a supposedly crime is commited a sentence or a fine is imposed, but there in nigeria the so claimed educated ones are so adamantly ignorant of their rights not to know that it is a crime for an officer regardless of any rank, position or department to beat or assault any nigerian citizen.regardless of what ever crime they may have commited. I am glad that there people like you who are atleast aware of that. 1 Like |

I used to have a friend in the Military. He once challenged a guy wearing Arny camouflage. He told Me that Abuja army head quarters was against Civilians wearing CAMOUFLAGE BECAUSE THE MILITARY CAMOUFLAGE was used by Criminal's, thieves, robbers, who disguise as Military personell to commit Crimes. Developed Countries have extensive Security Systems and surveillance technology to monitor and help to identify Criminals, Nigerians don't I once read a true story that a car was stolen but the Car had a tracker, and when the Tracker was used to monitor the Car movement, and the Next Road Security Checkpoint was alerted to block the Car It was seen that the car thieves/ robbers driving the Car were wearing Military uniform and that was the Strategy/ method the thieves used in freely passing the past security checkpoints they have been passing the Car with before the Police monitored the stolen car's location with Car tracker and alerted the security Checkpoint that stopped them. This is Nigeria. People / Criminals use Security Agencies uniforms to rob/steal/ kidnap/ commit crimes. I don't support Civilians in Nigeria wearing Military Uniforms for Security reasons given Nigeria lacks the Surveillance technology, Biological, pathologic, biometric and facial recognition software to solve Crimes and Catch Criminals Logical Practical Realistic Igbo Guy 3 Likes 1 Share |

abbeyty: Why should people wear military uniform all in the name of dressing, my guy it will reach a level of high impersonation, whereby the criminal element use it to harm the innocent. Then, u people will be the first to say, those people are military guys. Am not in support of some of the military personnel in their approach to this topic but let's look at the disadvantages. It numerous! 1 Like 1 Share |

OwoLee: so since they have been brutalizing the so called bloody civilians (according to them) cuz of wearing camo has the crime rate reduced ? let just agreed that wearing camo is not allowed in Nigeria which section in Nigeria constitution permit the Army to take law into their hands by beating up people ? you know why it can only happen in a zoo like Nigeria |

Nostradamus: Thanks Many People have not heard of Criminals using Military Uniform to stop travellers, road users, and rob, steal and kidnap people. No military uniform should be worn by a civilian in Nigeria to prevent and minimize crime by criminals wearing military uniform |
