Below is a statement from the Nigerian Immigration service made available to Politics Nigeria;

The attention of the Comptroller General of Immigration Service, CGI Muhammad Babandede MFR has been drawn to the existence of several Facebook accounts bearing his name and photograph purportedly being operated by him.

The said Facebook accounts interact with the public under the guise of CGI Muhammad Babandede MFR and often times, make bogus pledges to unsuspecting Facebook "friends" of "replacement/recruitment slots" into the Nigeria Immigration Service.
The CGI wishes to categorically state that he neither owns nor operates a Facebook account.

In the light of the above, the CGI hereby disassociate himself from such Facebook accounts and calls on the public to disregard any as it is the handiwork of impostors/fraudsters who may want to use it to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.

He also wish to inform the general public that the NIS management operates an open door policy and that anyone who wishes to access facilities or make any enquiries at the NIS can go to the nearest NIS formation or follow our Twitter handle @nigimmigration.

Some "human beings" will see this warning, go ahead and get scammed then turn around to blame NIS and its management.
Both the scammer and the scammee are guilty of greed just that when one outsmarts the other, the victim always takes the innocent posture.
To be forewarned is to be forearmed.
Oga at the top has warned.
