on a phone call on NTA news Today the director NAFDAC mentioned a commodity as an import prohibition item, the item being an imported Gari leveled to have come from India on its package was Infact from Ghana and packaged with Indian level to disguise and being sold at supermarkets, its wrong for the director to pronounce import prohibition on food items. She is not mandated with the authority to pronounce which food items should be imported, for its the job of the customs. this is breach of official limits, she should learn to stay within her boundaries! |
