This looks good but I would like to ask if your letter of acceptance is conditional? If it is, you must ensure you tell the VO the steps you're taking or have taken to clear the conditions on your letter in your sop or some proof to back it. This is a practical experience to avoid the request of additional documents which further delays your application processing. My two cents

I am using combined results. ..Both waec and neco results

FIRS means. ..federal inland revenue certificate for my registration of Tax identification number and Value Added certificate

1st: Recall u said professonal post graduate certificate, but if you have cleared it move on,
2nd: If it's acceptable combining the both no problem.

1. u not only need to money for 1 semester, u need for 1 session (that's 2 or 3 semesters depending on the school), so if it's 2 semesters u should multiply by 2.
2. As for u using a third party ( sm1 that's not ur sibling or parent) the person might have to pay ur tuition fee or send the amount he intend to commit to ur studies into ur bank account(so as to show the vo commitment). NB: Apart from ur tuition fee u still need to have atleast cad10k (for living expenses ) in ur account

yes u can use him but let him pay ur tuition fee or pay the said amount into ur account and let him also explain it in details in his letter of support to the vo and state his reasons behind wanting to spend millions on ur education

@thesoj, hey bro, if I may ask, the SOP amounted to about how many pages eventually? Thanks.

Three and half pages, 1.3 spacing, Arial font size 11, one inch page margins.

In most cases I am not an advocate for SOPs longer than two pages, except for complex applicants about whom the VO needs a lot more explanation and context. Even in these cases, the SOP should be engaging from the start and very easily readable otherwise the VO would just glaze through it.

If the SOP starts off by rambling then the likelihood of it being fully read, given its length, reduces considerably. A long SOP should not be laborious to read, otherwise it would hurt more than help.

As a final thought, a long SOP with lots of explanations should also have different pieces of evidence in the application to corroborate some of the explanations.

The mantra is to make everything very easy for the VO. If the VO has to make guesses about anything ambiguous in your application or SOP, s/he is likely to guess not in your favor.
