Few things here:
1. CBN, since beginning of this recession, has introduced a number of policies including the most recent one which include directly selling dollars to different categories of people such as overseas students, travelers, manufacturers, etc. This is obviously having the positive effects we're seeing now.

2. VP Osinbajo has always been in charge of the Economy at the instance of PMB. He's being the head of the President's Economic team since inception of this administration.

3. PMB/VPYO is a package, a joint-ticket which cannot be separated except PMB ceases to be president. This means whatever is achieved by VPYO is an achievement of the team.

4. PMB, by officially ceding power to VPYO (not the first or second time in the life of this government) has proved to be a man of system who follows the rule to the letter.

5. VPYO undoubtedly has the full support of his boss, PMB, to do and act as necessary for the good of Nigeria.

Lastly, i think what pains the wailing zombies most, including the Twitter Senator, is PMB's tough stance on looters and trouble makers including Dilector Kanu. And their hope that VPYO will soften on the govt's resolve to continue in that direction is a dead-on-arrival case. VPYO will not dare take his foot off the pedal as long as PMB breaths.

So, the faint hope that our Dilector will get off the hook is a hopeless hope. The faint hope that prosecution of looters will cease is a hopeless hope. And may the faint hope that PMB dies or becomes incapacitated be a huge HOPELESS HOPE.

Statements like this will heat up the polity. We have co tenants in Nigeria who will definitely misunderstand the truth in the statement.

What we should know is that if Mr. Osinbanjo continues as the acting president, some people will rubbish his efforts to better Nigeria because he will obviously outshine their principal. I think we better keep our mouths shut so the gentleman can do his utmost best while he's got the time.

The issue with people like Mr. Ben Bruce is that they fail to see the bigger picture.

Were it not for the seeming understanding the president and his VP have established, comments like these could brew distrust and suspicion.

A grown man should know when to speak and when to remain silent for the greater good.
