Chai at this stage, in 2017 just look at the state of the vehicle that serves as an ambulance for accident victims undecided

Nigeria is not a country but an artificial environment occupied by certain human.
All in a bid to sound educated you just said complete and utter nonsense. What is an artificial environment and certain human? So is England or Australia now the real environment or are the people there the uncertain humans? You need cane

That's what a Governor is elected to do
To put resource in place

Nigeria is a joke. Governor turned emergency medical technician to lead accident rescue. Orders their transport in the back of a truck. Victims get turned away at the public hospital, then get treated at a private hospital.

I'm aware many of us are used to so much absurdity that it bears pointing out how things should be done properly:

Governor happens upon an accident scene. Keeps driving, asks one of his staff to call the emergency number. In no time, emergency services arrive. Victims get transported to hospital. Get treated at no cost and get discharged home.

Governor reaches out to hospital later on via his staff to ensure all went smoothly and tries to find out if his admin can improve traffic accident occurrence and care for victims.

Simple!

If you live in a country where things work well, many times when travelling you might not even remember to pray for safe journey.

Shame suppose catch am.

I hope he has seen first hand that accident victims in his state are being transported to the hospital in the back of pickup trucks (which is not even safe for healthy people)

I hope that he has seen that Nigerians need ambulances when they are sick and Nigerians do not deserve to be hauled around in the back of pickup trucks like cattle.

May we not be a victim of premature death in dis new year in Jesus name

Nice work Governor, some will just pass by.

He should stop passing by the EMPLOYMENT of professional teachers and doctors instead of using corpers every year and increasing youth unemployment so that he can have plenty of money to steal.

he did good.hope dis is not a popularity stunt cuz I cant trust dis politicians

Of course, it is a publicity stunt.
Did you not read the press release from his Senior Special Assistant?
Rather than be ashamed that their is no organised, systematic medical rescue team and ambulance service along the road, they are busy doing paparazzi to excite their clueless fellow citizens.

The Governor needs to be ashame of him self for putting the poor woman in a pickup truck, why didn't he released his convoys AMBULANCE to take the poor woman to the hospital or his personal official car ?...
Our leaders are something else...

If all of them have been doing this, Nigeria would have been better off. Instead, some of them will just zoom off blaring siren to cause more havoc.
Great deal there. Thanks to the Governor.

I see no reason why that road should not have been dualized uptill now.
Ondo state has a very poor road network.

Goto ogun state, oyo state even ekiti state and osun state is better

That is normal in an abnormal country, though people will say he has done a kind deed, but in many normal countries, where most things are put in proper order, emergency services are the ones to be called and they will respond as necessary either with ambulances with vehicles and or helicopters.

Why do we chose to live like Animals in this part of the world? Accident victims at the back of a open roof pick up truck? What happens to ambulance and if Ambulance is not readily available can't we have the victim and maybe one relative sits on a seat in a covered vehicle?
