The self-acclaimed leader of the Biafra movement, Nnamdi Kanu, set up a Radio Biafra, live-streamed from London, which often broadcast highly provocative message and unreliable information, in addition to “hate speech” especially against mainly Muslims of Hausa-Fulani ethnic group. Kanu set his views with the aim of demonizing the image of Nigeria in the eyes of international community and brainwash the indigenous people of South Eastern Nigeria in an attempt to disintegrate the country, in other to satisfy his interest.

In law, hate speech is any speech, gesture or conduct, writing, or display which is unlawful because it may incite violence or prejudicial action against or by a protected individual or group, or because it disparages or intimidates a protected individual or group. The law may identify a protected individual or a protected group by certain characteristics.

The Anti-government incitement and his contempt against President Buhari and his government is seen by observers an avenue to gain sympathy from his fellow Biafra agitators within Nigeria and international community. Kanu strongly endorsed violence and act of terror as an instrument for achieving his political goal. While in Los Angeles, US, Kanu was quoted in his usual terror remarks:

“We need guns and we need bullets and those of you in America will give it to us….

If we don’t get Biafra, everybody have to die.”

What does this statement implies?

How can someone who openly proclaimed terrorism as the only option is seen as a hero? We really need to search our conscious.

Nigeria has suffered enough from the various crises that already affected the unity and harmony among different ethno-religious group, we don’t need repetition of such menace in our country. That’s why intimidation, violence and threat of terror will be regarded as the cruelest approach in solving any problem, because it will only intensify the problem and change it dimension.

Corrupt politicians were sponsoring crisis, using propaganda and media manipulation with the aim of causing confusion and being exposed by atrocities committed while in power. The harsh economic enslavement Nigerians are facing today is because of years of corrupt leadership that crippled the Nation economy.

No doubt, Nigeria is in recession, life is difficult and unbearable for the common man and the impression given is that President Buhari is responsible for the suffering of the people. The “Thieves” who emptied the nation’s treasury shamelessly incites and sponsored anti-government propaganda to bring confusion and get rid of the president to enable them hijack power and continue with the normal routine of stealing public fund. Sadly, Nigerians are so naive that cannot read in between the lines to see the reflection of their predicament from widespread of economic crisis inherited from the past regime.

These bigots and chauvinists that proclaimed fighting for their sovereignty, have only succeeded in nurturing illusions of dirty secession rhetoric. The ultimate reality of their agitation lies within an ideology that can be seen in the Hate-Mongering Video Footage of a Biafran Chieftain...

Where were you when Buhari and his APC folks used radio Changi to say exactly those things to GEJ? Oh, you might have buried your cowardly Yoruba muslim head inside the ocean?
While you are busy looking up legal definitions of hate speech, why don't you also look up free speech. The west have threatened secession of Oduduwa Republic, the north have always wanted to go their separate ways through their araba, but now have to wait a little bit to loot more of the oil from the east, and you're writing crap about the Biafra? You need a job!

Sorry Op,I had to put a brick head ^^ in line before congratulating you on this piece. I didn't think we had decent and objective people in the land anymore. To he honest, it's hard to tie you to any religion, political party or ethnic group. That's the "Major Key". It's make the write up more enjoyable and patriotic.

Oh Ya Rabb! Another Biafra dog is barking without teeth to bite innocent law abiding Nigerians. I can only read how your mind is "trap dancing" in painful incoherence of your identity and selfish bigoted desire of war-mongering.
Resolving Path will always preach peace and awake the ignorant and voiceless to stand firm against exploitation by evil people.

I would also like to remind you that "Hate-Speech" under the guise of "Free-Speech" is unlawful world wide and cannot be condone in this era.
And don't get deluded in your assessment, i am not Yoruba Muslimah, i am a Nigerian and a Muslimah. Why do you hate Yoruba Muslims? Hate is evil and unhealthy, stop it or it will kill you early. cheesy
