This is another one. In actual fact, the airline started operation as a cargo handling airline, before passengers services started.

The above is the plight of Nigerian airlines history. The most pathetic is that of Okada Air. They had so much aircraft, to the extent that, many thought, it was the richest private airline in Africa.

In fact, it became the first airline in Nigeria to own and operate a BOEING 747. With all these achievements, yet the airline went down. Even Kabo Air that lost its owner is still flying (though at chartered level).

There are some other airlines that are not here like Slok Air (that belongs to Orji Uzor Kalu), Dasab Airlines, Space World etc. They are all history in Nigeria. I will soon upload their pictures.

why not just sell the planes, instead of abandoning them in the airport fields. they could easly had made 30-50 million USD. or atleast recycle them in a junk yard SMH undecided
