Several years back on this forum, when appointments like these are made, in the following posts, people roll out the CVs of the candidates and the discussions on their suitability and potential to deliver follows. But welcome to the Nigeria of post-2015 election, appointments are made and only thing that matters are the tribe and religion. And we continue to wonder why Africa is still third world.

Despite his flaws, Jonathan's appointments were usually quite balanced and well represented. It was in Buhari's era people started paying attention to where people are from because 8 of every 10 appointments would be from the North.

So as you are wondering why Africa is still in the third world, also wonder how a leader can be so bigoted with appointments. That should give you enough to wonder about for the next few days.

The last time I checked, the reported appointments on this thread are equal between north/south, but youths actually find much pleasure in these silly things.
