I certainly am not down playing Costa. I can't down play a guy that has scored more than 50 goals for us. But these points you've raised, are the very reason why I prefer Lukaku. Added to the fact that he is more cool headed and would as much as possible, avoid unnecessary distraction and antics of the opposing defence.

Those antics are y ppl love and hate him, some defenders get embroiled in it and lose their head, costa is using his aggression to good effect this season. The only things i dont fancy about him are his poor ball control and sometimes erratic finishing.

If he is scoring like this in a low class team like Everton, then he'll be extra superb when playing for a coach like Conte with world class players around him at Chelsea. Even the poor Diego Costa has scored 18 goals because of Conte and the world class players around him. How many goals can Costa score if he was playing in Everton right now? Answer this question and you'll understand how good Lukaku is.

costa get wahala but he is the best striker for chelsea now, he suits the system , i cant count the number of times i have seen him on the ground laying a pass for a goal, only a physical yet skillful striker will work for us, costa dribbles alot, creates assists and his madness makes good tv

Exactly, the way he left d team was bad, left a lot of bitter taste in d mouth of fans, me inclusive, but I don't think Tammy is ready just yet, I would rather a young player get first team experience on loan elsewhere than have him as a bit-part player at d club. Lukaku can stay at Everton or go anywhere for all i care.

Bro get ur facts right, Costa contributed more all round wise than lukaku especially defensively.

If a striker is not scoring, he should be providing assists it causing the defence so much trouble. Not getting into brawls. He should also learn to stay on his feet. His antics isn't cunning the refs again.

Look at Harry Kane and Lukaku. These are leaders from the front. Costa is good. But with his style, he will struggle in a lower team. Even in China where the quality of play is not as high.
