Guy, this kinda hardly happen in d northern university. Ask anybody u knw who graduated frm university in d north and he/she will tell you. I ain't sayin it doesn't happen at all bt it is very very rare especially where I graduated from, Bayero University, Kano. I don't knw wat is called sorting or female offering sex for marks until wen I went to Anambra for my NYSC.
Sorting and sex for marks are seriously abhore here in d northern university.

Nnamdi Azikiwe University is very far on that list. Believe me it's one of the Public universities with the highest level level of sanity in the country.
The only faculty where some lecturers misbehave and go free is in faculty of management sciences.

I witnessed many lecturers suspended. Lecturers banned from selling textbooks directly to students: all sales of textbooks go through the school bookshop. Though these rules may not be 100% implemented, but the school is great.

Just two state universities, I wonder where these people applauding u come from, University of Benin graduated 17 first class in Engineering alone, in 2014 d formal Vice chancellor sacked 19 corrupt lecturers, Unilag graduates 5.0 students almost every year. A school wit high corruption rate do not produce numerous first class, do ur research, State Universities should be top of ur list

Only students without sense of pride and self-worth allow themselves to be victims of sorting in these other schools. Truth be told, students too love sorting because it excludes them from the necessary hardwork. Now you see why some employers would only consider products of certain schools with good integrity.

Go to IMSU,blood. As at 2011, my cuz was paying 8k to sort just a course.
In Imsu, sorting is like a major on itz own. U must offer that Sorting102 whether u like am or not

Anambra state there is nothing like sorting as the current rector : professor Godwin onu has reduced it to the barest minimum with the introduction of CBT mode of examination,
but some sadistic lecturers now attach stamped and crested " take home quiz " inside their outdated and copied text books in order to make sure that students buy them..........
but there is something worse than sorting happening in okopoly right now its called......"upgrading"
some corrupt computer operators @ the cbt centers aid corrupt students in increasing their scores.......reason why you get to see a student who couldn't score up to 5/30 in contineous assesment scoring 69/70 in the examination.......

shut up. I graduated from same school. ECOSTAT. No lecturer sells handouts in Uniben. Lectures will never fail you if you do not buy text books. They might consider giving you some bonus mark if you(upgrade) let's say from F to E if you bought the text book and failed. I bought a few text books. Photocopied lots of them and borrowed the rest of the books i used. I still graduate with 2:1 so shut up. Nobody is failing you because of textbook. You're falling because you either refused to attend classes or failed to prepare well for exams.

Yeah, it was that bad. I remember filling jamb form, in my second choice category I put IMSU. Mehn, my parents almost ate me alive. They told me to rather choose FedPonek, I said no, then they told me if I don't, I should get ready to foot my tuition fee myself. It was that bad.
