China always showing the world that nothing is impossible, while they are churning out innovations in virtually every field the black race is still grappling with wars, hunger, lack of power, water, good roads , tribalism, nepotism, ethnicity , religious affiliations and the likes, the black race prays every second but China is not even a praying NATION and things are working perfectly for them 1 Like |

azimibraun: Americans have been doing it for many many years. If I'm not mistaken, those guys have moved an entire hotel. There are contractors who specialize in difficult moves, and they regularly move houses. There are companies in Nigeria who can move houses. IMO, any logistics company that can move something as huge as a 150MVA power transformer from Lagos to Damaturu can move a bungalow from Agege to Ipaja. It's just that when people see compensation money for their grandpa's old house, they bone the house and collect the money. That's why we have not seen such moves here. If someone does it here, we will all call him a madman. 1 Like |

This is common in North America. People move houses with big trucks. That is because most of their houses are built with woods and other soft materials.

azimibraun: ""But it must require building a new soak away. Or if you have a detachable soak away then you can also empty it, transfer to the new location dig, bury them and connect them to your lavatory"" Developed countries have centralised soak away system all you need is just to connect to the existing channel and you are done for instance Lagos state would have one lavatory that serves the entire houses in the city likewise other states they have pass the stage of caring shiit...Fela . . |
