I have a theory that there was never trade in slave, but the covert kidnap of individuals and or tricking individuals associating with white missionaries into boarding ship to "visit the white man's land"
Also that most shipped were like easily and controlled children and adolescents.
Rossikk:

I guess all the statues, artefacts, crests, paintings, and quotes, referencing kings, queens, and noblemen as posted above all fell down from Planet Jupiter.

As for the ''we'' in your post, that signifies a lack of sophistication in your analysis. There was no such thing as ''we'' in ancient Africa. Not every African group was enslaved. Perhaps 90% of the slaves came from no more than a handful of coastal ethnic groups in West Africa. Northwestern, Eastern, Central, and Southern Africa were virtually untouched by the slave trade. The Mali empire in north West Africa was flourishing in commerce and building universities at the very same time the first slave ships were berthing in the Atlantic coast thousands of miles to the south. So Africa is not a uniform entity to say that ''we'' were doing this and ''we'' were doing that. Africa is a huge place, not your little village.

Everything Africa had in the 15th and 16th centuries were given to the black Africans by their Arab masters. All those universities were Arabic universities and learned people were all Muslims colonized and given new identities by the Arabs.

Before the Arabs brought Islamic civilization to Africa, the rest of sub-Saharan Africa was a wasteland. The only part of Africa that had a semblance of activity was Egypt and allied smaller North African city states. The Romans (Europeans) sacked Ptolemy of Egypt who was a descendant of one of Alexander's generals (another European).

Before the Islamic Moors marched on Spain and Portugal, the Europeans had already marched on the Moors, Berbers, and other Meditteranean people of North Africa. The Roman Empire sacked Egypt and Carthage (the foremost Empires in Africa at the time, none of these Empires were black dominated. In fact blacks were often slaves in these Empires).

After the fall of the Roman Empire, then the Byzantines, Europe fell into the dark Ages, while Arabia progressed to have the Islamic Golden Age. It was during this Age that the Arabs conquered the formerly Roman colonized African Empires and gave the people their the Arabic identity that they have to this day. It is those colonized Arabic blacks that are the Moors who won wars in Portugal and Spain.

Before the dark Ages, Europe was the shining star of the world. Europe found their feet again during the Renaissance period. What about the black Muslim African so-called civilizations? They effed themselves off when the Arabic Golden Age ended starting with the Crusades.

Bini and Ife are insignificant and contributed nothing significant to the known world. You want to call the Bini and Ife when we have the Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Aztec, Incan civilizations. People that did not have a written language and could not even build a formidable navy when they were close to the sea.

Give Bini and Ife 3,000 years, they would never have been like Carthage not to talk of the Ancient Egyptian empire.

What exactly did the Europeans disrupt? Killing of twins, burying of slave heads with kings, paddling with canoe when the ancient Persians had 10,000 ship navies?

The Arabs and Europeans shone the light on sub-Saharan Africa. The Moors were Muslims and carried over Islamic traditions to Spain and Portugal. Every black man in ancient civilizations answered names and practiced the culture of the civilizations they adopted.

Black Africans have been running away from the poverty-, sickness-infested sub-Saharan Africa for over 6,000 years. They are still running away today. Go to the Sahara desert and the Mediterranean sea. Develop your land with resources available, don't form attache by force. Then claim to be superior to the people who gave you your identity.

Did the Europeans force your chiefs and kings to sell off POWs as slaves? Did any White man kidnap a black person in the villages to sell as slaves? What did the chiefs, kings, and slave merchants do with the money they were paid? This is hogw your black politicians steal and rob fellow black people, then you guys still have the guts to blame the West for under-development.

Black on Black violence has been a curse since the beginning of time. Even till this day and in advance America, black on black violence is higher than white on black violence. We hate ourselves. How do you hate yourself and ask someone to love you? Where is that done.

The Original Black Europeans were Catholic. Til today Oberwelingen is MAINLY Catholic.

From the 2000 census, 2,150 or 59.0% are Roman Catholic, while 750 or 20.6% belonged to the Swiss Reformed Church.

NOBODY mentioned Adam's Calendar! ACTUALLY Rossikii and Horus In disappointed but you're OBVIOUSLY busy so you're BOTH forgiven.

This is a collection of stone remains on the Moz'/SA border dated from 75kya to 200 kya.

Scattered throughout the mountains of South Africa are thousands of stone circle ruins. The first estimates of the number of these ruins was made in 1891 by English explorer Theodore Bent. He estimated there were about 4,000 in this area of the world. By 1974 the estimate had risen to 20,000. Today, researcher and authority on the subject, Michael Tellinger, has estimated the number of ancient stone ruins to be 100,000 or possibly much higher.

Actually Southern Africa is dotted with such sites; Great Zimbabwe is merely the best known. There are even ancient canals identified in Bots" and Nam', a story to be exposed on another day before we hear Chinese, Arabs, Aliens did it!

More proof of blacks and mulattos in 17th century tech UK and Europe. First is Oliver Cromwell acting under Jewish (Impostor) instructions to reintroduce usury to Britain for which along with ritual child murder they'd been banished in the early 1200s.

He killed a king and brought about civil war!

Therefore, advise that Charles be assassinated, but will have nothing to do with procuring an assassin, though willing to help with his escape.”

Read the whole thing slowly-TWICE!? Far too MANY of you are comfortable in your MSM miseducation you defend zealously.

This portrait of Cardinal Richelieu at La Rochelle port shows his mixed race ancestry compared to the nearby whites.

See how dark the Inca kings were along with contemporary Spanish royalty. Is is suntan? Did the painter of the day accidentally use too MUCH dark colour?

The artist, Christopher Wren (1632-1723), specifically entitled this painting, "Le Maure", French for "The Moor"

In ancient times, 'moor' was used by historians and authors to refer to black people.
'Negro', 'black', etc are recent names for people of colour.

The "Moors" of Europe

Etymology

Variants of the term "Moor" have been used by many Europeans since ancient times as a general description for indigenous Africans. Contrary to popular belief, the term is not synonymous with "Islamic" or any specific Arab or African religion, civilization, or ethnicity.

The origin of the English term, "Moor," is the Greek word, "μαυρο" or "mavro" which literally means "black, blackened or charred" and has long been used to describe black or very dark things such as, "Mavri Thalassa" which refers to the Black Sea or "mavri spilia" which means "black cave." Ancient Greeks used the term to describe the complexion of Africans and (even today, some Greeks use "mavro" to refer to Africans, although in a pejorative manner).

One need not be a linguist to see the word's evolution from the Greek "mavro" to the Latin word, "mavrvs" (actually, "mavro" in the ablative, singular, masculine Latin form). The English transliteration is "Maurus" and the plural form is "Mauri," specifically used by ancient Romans in reference to Black Africans. Writers in both Greek and Latin specifically used the term as a racial identity. In the Epitome de Caesaribus (390s AD), we learn that Aemilianus was "a Moor by race." Procopius of Caesarea (500-565 AD), a Byzantine scholar who wrote in Greek, said in his History of the Wars, "beyond that there are men not black-skinned like the Moors..."

Even through the middle ages, the term (as well as the Spanish, "moro," the German "mohr," the Dutch "moor" etc.) continued to be used in reference to Black Africans. In one of the oldest Dutch texts (1300s AD), a Moor was described specifically as "black."

Great post @Horus. However...

The Moors who invaded and ruled
Spain in 711 to 1492 were Muslim Berbers and some Arabs from
Morocco in North Africa. They
were not from Black Africa.

In 1492, King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella's combined military forces defeated and finally expelled the
Moorish invaders and Jews from Spain. Many of them crossed back into North Africa and some Jews fled into the Turkish Ottoman Empire.

You are putting the cart before the horse. It was only AFTER Europe began the slave trade that their elite began propagating tales of African 'inferiority' in order to justify to the world and their own people, their barbaric and brutal treatment of the Africans. Prior to the slave trade, no European on earth felt superior to an African. As for the second part of the question, the blacks were "wiped out" the same way other eras come to an end. For instance, today, do you see any traces of white colonial rule in Nigeria? Or Ghana? Or Sierra Leone? Nope. They've all gone. Once your time is up, you'll disappear from the scene eventually.
ok now I understand..so black invaded their land make themselves rulers over whites but Las las they lost their rights and leadership to the Whites...

@Reflect7,
Young man, LEARN to read properly while online, and be more civil! You seem to lack proper engagement skills and so you end up gravitating into insults! It's
very UNWISE of you to use such insulting 4 letter "mumu" word to describe me. I won't take that from you.

I've had over 40 years of studies
in global history, and global trade
is my specialty. I have a large
collection of encyclopaedias,
CD-ROMS and books in my home library and they all deal
comprehensively with the history
of the Moors.

NOTE:
The FACT is that Europeans of the past used the term Moors to refer to black Africans, and as of 711 C.E. to 1492 C.E. when the North African
Muslim Berbers and Arabs brought
Islam via a jihad into Spain (known as Al-Andalus in Arabic)... The term MOORS was also used to refer to the Muslim Berber invaders of Spain (in 711 C.E.) who are NOT
Sub-Saharan black Africans, but they came from the region of Morocco and Algeria.

I'm well aware that there was black presence in Europe centuries back thru the slave trade and black
freeborns who served on military
campaigns in Europe and Asia.

Enough said.
