Critical sectors that needs urgent rehabilitation/development are neglected for luxury ones perhaps white elephant projects which adds no economic advantage to the country.

For how long are we going to be incurring more debts and servicing recurrent expenditure while critical sectors suffer.

Apt words sanusi but what solution do you have to these issues?

Let the Emir call Buhari directly and tell him in person.

Just in case the Emir doesn't have Buhari's number, here is it -08034194190.

I wish them wonderful deliberations.....

Sanusi is a fake intelligentsia. This had being written about in the sun newspaper over two years ago. Making that statement as if he is the originator is a fraud.

I made these points when the abuja- kaduna railway was being constructed. These chinese dudes encourage us to take loans at zero interest rates but everything about the project comes from their country. Let's assume 60 percent goes back to their industries in china and at the end of the project, nigeria still owes them the full amount they borrowed us.
Like the emir said, why not borrow in a sustainable way? Why not focus on projects that will better the lots of Nigerians economically? Why not make great roads from states like benue, jos and other agricultural communities to cities like lagos, portharcourt ,Kano and to the ports? Truly nigeria lacks visionary leaders

Word!
Nigeria and indeed Africa must begin its march towards industrialization if it wants to come out of this present darkness.
"Helps" from chiba, india, the US n UK are nothing but baits that ll further enslave. Eventually, after swallowing their "aid", we lose our voice, our resource control, our right to develop.
Ya ubangiji... when will we learn. Its clear we are trapped. No wonder we prefer their food, products, gadgets.
Hmmm.

Sanusi is just pointing out that the people paid to make these decisions haven't done their job.

When the bank takes you to court and you are forced to hand over your monthly pay, you've become a slave with no hope of ever getting free.

I see it as a long term investment which will pay off with time so the President should go ahead and proceed with the transaction...
