My brother, egusi is no trivial matter

How many Nigerian Lady can prepare such sophisticated Egusi?,no matter how much you give her she will still cook one magic Egusi for u. Besides is mostly Nigerians in Ghana that Normally cook and sell Egusi soup in Ghana,Ghanaians specialty remain Fufu with that watering lightsoup, then Banku with either Okro ,light and banga soup.Egusi is not Ghana thing.

they call their egusi kontomire stew ?

They cook it with Egusi doesn't mean it is Egusi soup unless you want to give it 2 different names which is Egusi soup and kontomri soup, then you can chose to call soup names according to it's contents e.g if fish enter the soup you then say it is fish soup if maggi enter you call it Maggi soup e.t.c.among all the names of soups they will never for ones mention Egusi soup for you in Ghana ..they have light,okro,grand-nut,palm-nut,kontomri e.t.c as soups nothing like Egusi soup .I'm typing from Accra atm.

Only a Nigerian has the authority to prepare Egusi. All other nationalities must obtain a written permission from a full blooded Nigerian, before daring to attempt the recipe.

This is Ghana's calculated attempt to disparage one of our heritages as a revenge for the 1980s Ghana-Must-Go 'fiasco'.
Ghana High Commissioner (Ambassador) should report to Aso Rock ASAP and explain, why this malicious but dastardly attempt to malign our key national interest should not be reciprocated in commensurate stern measure(s).

Nigerians and their wahala with Ghana
I can bet my last dime that it was a Nigerian that posted that pic and tagged it as egusi.

Firstly Ghanaians don't make egusi stew. It is not a Ghanaian dish. Sometimes when making kontomire stew some people like to add egusi to it but it still is no where near or taste like the Nigerian version of egusi stew.

Please let Ghanaians rest.

Kontomire is not egusi please. Some Ghanaians may want to add egusi to it but original kontomire has no egusi at all. Egusi, is a Nigerian food it has never been Ghanaian and there's no Ghanaian version of it so there's nothing like Ghanaian egusi. Why do people just enjoy unnecessary cyber food wars?
