PMB is very cunning but hides that fact behind a stern & no nonsense façade. or when things really go 'south', he acts as if he has no idea of the atrocities being perpetuated under his watch.

Nigerians know the problem of Nigeria is CORRUPTION.
Buhari is the only member of the elite class who has called it out and is tackling it . Before now it was the lot of social crusaders and activists.
Now you are having 'adult governance' where corporate citizens like MTN and Shell are compelled to face the law.

Who els could have shown the guts to take hard decisions like this?... Atiku?, El Rufai?, Jonathan?
None.
Corruption is not the problem. It is one of the symptoms of the main problem. It is like a branch of a tree, if you want to solve the branch then you must uproot the tree! He has been 'fighting' corruption and where has it led to? Nowhere!

The Yoruba Muslims and Hausa Muslims are to blame. They have chosen to be willing tools in the hands of Fulani oligarchs.
But then,at the end, nothing will come out of this failed regime save for those who are elated that a man that bear their tribal name is appointed to a federal post.
No new road has been constructed in last two years across Nigeria
No body has been convicted of corruption
No hospital renovation nor important health policy
A rising unemployment across Nigeria
A great distress and hunger and so on.
But since Buhari has started, he has to continue till 2023

Tell us one new roads, that was constructed in the almost 6years of oil boom in the last government.
By what stretch do you expect a brand new road in a time of huge revenue loss to the governmentoof the day.
Be honest and explain how a government that could not build in time of boom will fare by this season

Nna eh, enough of bringing up past years, Buhari was voted in cos the last government wasn't doing well..... The question that begs answer is this..." What has Buhari done differently since ascending the presidency.

It is out of shame.
Don't Forget That it was Tinubu and his Western Axis media that repackaged an expired Buhari and sold him to Nigerians as a Messiah.

Now, they are soooo stomped, soooo embarrassed at the horrible product they sold to Nigeria.
They are embarrassed, both the sellers and buyers of Buhari's messianic bullshit, to the point of speechlessness.
Only a few bold and honest ones have come out to express regret.

Secondly, Buhari's gestapo army of EFCC and DSS are ever ready to muzzle dissenters. They have been doing for the past 2 years.

Buhari's second MissionLESS journey is turning out to be far worse than his first MissionLESS journey in 1983.

The only problem with Nigeria is the Fulanis of which Buhari is their King. Fulanis brought Jihad to the Northern area 213 years ago. Since then this part of Africa keep going down till date.
Buhari is a disaster. Nepotism to the high level. Islamisation of Federal public offices in glaring full gear... Buhari na Error my guy!!

We need restructure. Not from Atiku cos he is Fulani too..

Governance goes beyond corruption fighting. Growing the economy is a huge part of governance. Besides, selective corruption fighting has been the hallmark of his government.

One more thing, we keep saying his government but how much does he actually oversee? Can you truly claim he is 100% in charge of this government?

Tell me something, in that case we should legalise armed robbery, kidnapping and ritual killings na.

That's why I feel insulted when adminisher says that Buhari has integrity.

If Buhari had any integrity, he would not have accepted GRATUITY from Abacha, a man that overthrew his government, and probably the most corrupt leader the world had ever seen, and then even went on to defend the same Abacha of corruption allegations.

If Buhari had an iota integrity, he would have long put his country's interest first by resigning from the presidency to deal with his deteriorating health. A man of honour and integrity would let his country move on and not be dragged through the mud, through the confusion and through chaos occasioned by his physical incapacitation.

The one major issue with Buhari is that he has this whole wrong notion that he and him alone has the answer to the myriad of Nigeria's problems.

This attitude of "everyone is corrupt and bad except my holy self".

He was so hyped before 2015 that he began to see himself as the only messiah Nigeria needs, only to get to Aso rock to discover na obughi otu aki ilu si ada ka osi ato ( the bitter kola tastes differently from the crunchy way it sounds when chewed)

Why is Obasanjo, Atiku and the rest of them that were part of the 16 years still held unaccountable for those years? Is it only GEJ that was in power for 16 years? Or because Obasanjo joined APC?

I get tired of answering people like you because l know why you guys are here. No amount of facts will convince you because you are here to defend and not to learn. You are here to defend the falsehood of APC and the pretentiousness of Buhari.

The only reason I keep answering you is because others will read this discussion and I've said enough for them to make up their own minds.

It's not patience, it's cowardice. The typical Nigerian would rather endure the discomfort and grumble in his bedroom. No one wants to land in jail for talking, especially after seeing the way some have been dealt with for daring to say something unfavorable. Just suffer and smile and no one gets hurt.

I hope someday we'd realize that these political leaders are employees (not lords) of the people, and they ought to be held accountable for their (mis)deeds.

All Nigerian politicians are dull, corrupt, unintelligent people. Buhari at least has integrity and an ideology. A stong ideology .

Finally, being educated means having the discipline to see truth and say it. 21st century is about freedom of views, independent institutions, self expression.
Buhari has permitted a Senate that his party has majority to oppose his appointee s, he has permitted EFCC to go against DSS, he has actively ignored three factions within his own.party. He has given broad and sweeping authority to a VP whois a xtian

It is difficult to explain whyPMB has not selected heads of agencies 2 years after securing the mandate. It is elementary knowledge that leadership and change requires that you have your own team who share your drive and philosophy and will execute your policies.

Apart from a few ministers he appointed, it is mind-boggling how PMB expects to lead well without competent people.

The Economist is right in this aspect, very right.

Nigerians voted for change because they were fed up of the previous administration but alas Buhari's administration has broken several negative records in just 2 years. Is it the forex crisis, inflation, unemployment, nepotism, herdsmen killing, tomato scarcity, bank charges for deposits, just mention it. Everything that can go wrong has gone wrong under this government. Reality and facts/figures speak for themselves.

No significant achievement he can point to. Unfortunate.
