if the company did do or shortchanged the delta state govt the efcc has legal standing to pursue this contract scam irrespective of whatever delta state wants to claim
if the senator lays claim to funds accruing from the firm as a result of the contract while in office then CCB/cct will have to be brought into the case against the senator
that is the reason why the lawyer that will handle this case will make serious money on this case.
all depends on the case file sent to court by the efcc and their power of their legal team

In the Catholic dogma of sacrament of penance /reconciliation, there is a teaching of imperfect contrition...that is sorrow for sins cos of fear of damnation/hell as against perfect contrition which is sorrow for sin for offending a Loving God.
Now most believers including myself tend to follow the precept of God not cos we love God rather fear of damnation. But politicians nowadays seems to careless...they rather have treasures here on earth at the expense of suffering masses than believe in an "illusory" heaven.
Their penchant for wealth accumulation seems to me that they have taken solace in the heretical doctrine of "Apocatastasis" propounded by Origen-a 2nd century church father which believe in the universal restoration of all things. That hell will cease to exist, and the devil will be pardoned.
I guess Nigerian politicians are avid disciples of this school of thought. That even if they find themselves in hell for looting our common patrimony, one day hell will cease!
