Okigbo Panel Report On Oil Windfall Is Missing by Mamajama(m): 2:11pm On Jan 26, 2007 |
This Nigerian government never seems to amaze me. How can the only document that foster hope to any prosecution of IBB be missing? Maybe IBB was not alone in the windfall. Who took the documents? http://www.guardiannewsngr.com/news/article03 |

The most amazing thing is not the fact that it is missing, the question here is why inform the Nigerian people that it is missing?/ does it mean that this report is not in electronic copy?/ Well what ever is the essence of this anouncement is defeated because the punch had published a summary of the report before. I will simply go print out a copy for myself right not. Ufot Ekaete and OBJ can destroy it if they like but Gani Fawenhinmi and the Nigerian people will always have their copy. |

As Fellow said a whole ship was declared missing circa 2003/2004. Kalakuta Republic was burnt by an 'unknown soldier' ie after the Justice Uwaifo Panel of Enquiry had wasted man hours and resources, that was the verdict they came up with. Now Okigbo Panel of Enquiry-our leaders like to insult themselves and is it not ironic that the SFG sat on that panel-was only one copy made?Panels of Enquiry submit multiple copies on the expiration of their business and it's rather shameful and pointless for the SFG to utter that mumbo-jumbo. I know OBJ is using that to keep IBB at bay and one day just as the Berlin wall collapsed and the East Germans got rid of the yoke over their heads ,so shall we, one day! |

Maybe NL peeps have failed to realize that Northerners always seem to want to get away with criminal activities. I've not seen the EFCC lay solid hands on a corrupt northerner. When a "big" northerner's case gets to the court, it ends there, like Muhammed Abacha, Al mustapha and co, but when it comes to people like Rev. King and co, they are quick to revisit the Gallows. Till jesus comes, the Oil windfall case will continue to rise and fall. Besides, it is widely rumoured that some of the big companies providing well paid jobs for Nigerians started up from the proceeds of this Oil Windfall. I'm not being tribalistic here, but it's something i've noticed about the Judiciary (The office of the Chief Justice of the federation has been occupied by , in the last three terms?) So you see! Okigbo doesn't sound northern, neither does Oputa, so how are the Big Overpopulated boys to take them serious? |
